Are most Mazinkaiser SoC units have the same issue? In addition to the photos posted here from all buyers inc. me, and the units reported by the guy who sold me mine, the figures came with that damn chest plate pin already BROKEN in its box without a single touch. Supergluing it back isn't such an easy matter because if you don't superglue it back on the EXACT right spot, it will not allow the damn gold chest piece to go through probably.

I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE!MY SECOND FAV. GO NAGAI SUPER ROBOT IS MAZINKAISER. SO, I PAID $240 + $25 USD SHIPPING + E£400 EGP (TOTAL ~ E£5,000 EGP) TO GET A HIGH-END FIGURE W/O QC ISSUES! BANDAI, IT'S A DIE f**kING CAST FIGURE... SO YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO MAKE THOSE f**kING FRAGILE CHEST PLATES OUTTA METAL TO AT LEAST RESIST THE FIRE BLASTER HEAT, HA HA f**kIN' HA! I TRIED TO FIX THE BROKEN PIN 4 TIMES BY NOW USING SUPERGLUE, THEN, EPOXY BUT AND I ALMOST DID IT RIGHT BUT WHEN I TRY TO ADJUST IT SO THE DAMN GOLD PIECE WITH THE Z LETTER GETS PROBABLY IN HIS CHEST, IT KEEPS SNAPPING OFF 'N SPANS MY NERVES ALONG. HELL NO! I AM SORRY TO MISTER SELLER BUT I JUST OPENED A f**kING CASE ON EBAY, GIVING HIM A CHOICE BETWEEN 2 OPTIONS: 1) SEND ME A f**kING UNDAMAGED PIECE (I'LL PAY FOR ITS SHIPPING) 'N I WILL SEND YOU THE sh*tTY PIECE I GOT FROM YOU. OR 2) TAKE THE ENTIRE f**kING FIGURE BACK AND REFUND ME ITS PRICE. (THEN, I WILL LOSE THE SHIPPING MONEY FROM HONG KONG TO EGYPT AND BACK FROM EGYPT TO HONG KONG), BUT I PREFER LOSING $50 USD RATHER THAN KEEPING A $240 SINGLE-BOOBED-KAISER FIGURE. EVEN THE QC ISSUES OF BRAVE GOKIN 40 DIDN'T GET ME ANGRY LIKE THIS! DAMMIT.

i feel you man nothing is worst that having your brand new figure broken and its not your fault
the thing is after the GX-71 Bandai Products went downhill, it feels like they dont care about having a high standers anymore and they just releasing stuff without actually testing it
now i hope they take thier time with DX Combattler and DX Grendizer, because i wont accept any B.S in that line

First and more importantly, Bandai has to MAKE SURE engineering AND material is sound... Whats the point of installing fancy Metal Built joints and artistically liberal "fancy eyebrows" if parts break off right out of the box?
Secondly, they need more test shots, and a lot better QC testers at the factory itself. If you see a broken part, do not ship. Bandai also needs to open few up to see if there IS problem with production. Are they doing that? If they are, they need to do more. Just by looking at the photo, you can tell there IS a material and structure issue. If there is a found problem which obviously is, they needed to halt production. Right there and then. Thats all prevention.
Now if Bandai wants to fix it after the fact, They really should consider adding the "fixed" better unbreakable Lego quality breast plate in GX-76 or even GX-77.... That would really really be appreciated.
Figure should not arrive broken, really...thats Neca territory. embarrassing
Who here will be buying this figure as is now? Even then Id ONLY buy from US shop.

Duke77 I'm sorry that you're having to go through this problem brother.
I think I'm going to cancel my order from BBTS. I hadn't been following the string here but I definitely can't afford to waste money on something with QC issues.

I hadn't been following the string here but I definitely can't afford to waste money on something with QC issues. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. If the paint qc was better, and it didn't have the fragile chest plates, I would though, since the lack of ratchets, spring loaded rocket punches, and head articulation doesn't bother me at all. I expect this level of qc out of a revoltech, maybe an src, but not or of something that cost most people $200, and now more due to scalpers

Seriously, I think only 1 member here reported breakage upon opening, and another member reported breakage during handling of the figure. Many other members got theirs with no issues and liked it. I didn't backtracked the entire thread so the numbers could have been off but not by much.
I'm just saying, put it in perspective. I understand it's upsetting to get a broken figure but this issue might be blown way out of proportion in this thread. For all we know, since the user got the figure from eBay from Hong Kong, not from a reputable store, it could have been a broken figure to begin with. If you're able to source it from a reputable store like BBTS, the worst that can happen to you is to return it due to defect. If it's not broken then it's just a matter of being careful during handling like any other high end toys.

I gotta agree here. Obviously terrible to have serious issues with any figure at this price point but the GX-75 is a fantastic release in my opinion. Anything can happen in shipping. Choose your retailer carefully. Also, anything can happen once you get it in hand. I learned that pretty quick. The first gokin I bought was the Gaiking GE-10. I had it for less than an hour and while trying to combine it I dropped in on the rug and it broke at the waist. Had to superglue it together. I was pissed but I still have it on display and think it's a great figure. All this being said, this board is a resource for people to read about the good and bad concerning a possible purchase. And there is A LOT of good here in this Kaiser!

If you're super careful handling your figure and love Kaiser keep it. If not drop it. If you're buying from sellers by BBTS where they would refund you no problem with issues then I guess why not give it a shot.

The thing is i was playing with this kaiser and for some stupid reason I moved the breast plate(left) up and it snap, it was a mess and I got mad. Why the stupid little pin? Should be METAL... damn piece! Seriously thinking in swapping the src mazinkaiser Brest plates to the Gx 75 I will try that adventure this weekend to see if works? Will keep posted ...

In addition to the other 6 members who their photos were posted here, (7 inc. me), my eBay seller told me there are many reports! That fragile piece of sh*t...if it doesn't come already broken, it will probably break by time because it is a WRONG engineering. It's like you are asking an ant to lift an elephant! GX-75 Fire Blaster should be die-cast.

I think four pictures are reposted from a Chinese forums (likely a much much larger community) and not pictures from actual members here? Anyways I'm sorry for your broken figure.

Now, new cases from Italy as well it is becoming VIRAL and Bandai still did not make an announcement! Frankly, the only solution is to release die cast parts of this Fire Blaster!

Wonder why they used a thin pin on the breast plate instead of a thick, square peg like all Mazinger Z figures.

Seems like a really poor design choice. Even if it doesn't break in shipping I would be really nervous of it falling over.

If i were an owner of this figure now, i would remove the plates VERY carefully and stow them away. I would not take that chance of accidently breaking it.

I think removing the plates is more risky then leaving them on.
