Thank you I really just want a one good Mazinger z, great Mazinger and Grendizer figure and the best way to display them and was hoping a detolf would fit them. So maybe i should get the DX SOC Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger ( because its seems they are better than king arts). Is DX SOC Grendizer and spazer coming out? any prototype pictures? I like the original three cartoons so thats all i need, Mazinkaiser is a maybe for me just because he fits with the original cartoon story from the 70s DX SOC Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger are definitely great choices if not being costly. But a DX Grendizer has not been announced yet. Since it takes quite a while for Bandai to release a DX (1 every couple years), it will be a long while before Grendy's turn, if at all. And the chance of a DX Mazinkaiser is even slimmer. Though there are some good Kaiser figures from othe toyline. SOC and Riobot have very nice ones. So this is the dilemma, not all toy line has all three (four) you want. Or if they do (SOC), they may not have the details and gimmicks you like from King Arts. Even the Metal Build Mazinger Z and Great are very nice, but with a more modern aesthetics. There are really a lot of choices if you dig into it. And you can weigh the pros & cons which line offers what you like the most, what you can afford, versus betting on the risk of waiting on future releases that may or may not happen. This forum has plenty threads & reviews you can search. Youtube is an excellent source to look up video reviews too. It will be a big purchase/investment either way, so it is good to research what you like best, and that is all part of the fun. If you can't find info you need, just ask here and folks will try to help.

Grendizer is the most important one to me. I already ordered the King arts version and will order the other three spazer from king arts website directly but i hope they are reliable.
My gut feeling is to get the DX soul of chogokin Mazinger z and great Mazinger if i can find them for a reasonable price and then in the future if a DX Grendizer comes out i will pick it up and sell the king arts version.
Mazinkaiser im bot very sure how i feel about it, I'm not sure if is considered part of the original trilogy of tv cartoons or is it separate, so if it never gets a DX i would be ok but Grendizer deserves a DX the most of all.
Also can the SOC line ever release a Plawress Sanshiro figure?

Also can the SOC line ever release a Plawress Sanshiro figure? Mazinkaiser came in in the mid 90s, first appeared in a video game called Super Robot Wars franchise where many anime robots team up to fight bad guys. Kaiser was the final upgrade of Mazinger Z in that game. From there, it started to appear in comics, then in its own anime shows and became popular. Rather than part of the trio, it is more of a continuation of them after 2 decades. Though in the shows, Grendizer was not referenced. So Kaiser is tied much closer to the 2 Maz brothers instead. But for people that followed these shows, the 4 bots are still seen as one family. For a really nice Juohmaru figure, you'll need to look for the Fewture EX Gokin one. Pretty much a 1:1 diecast figure with clicky joints. The older version has very few panel lines, later re-release has more and slightly different accessories. Aftermarket price are quite high now, so be prepare to pay a bit or know where to look. I have one, its very nice. Fewture also made Maz, Great & Grendy. But they are VERY stylized.

Hi everyone, First post here and new to collector Robots action figure. I have never bough anything like a collector toy in my life but a couple of days ago I stumbled to a video showing King arts Grendizer and suddenly i flashed back 30 years back in my head remembering my love for Grendizer and my grandfather who bough me all my toys. I had a couple of questions and was hoping i can get help here:
hello and welcome
i will try to answer your questions even tho mpchi did a good job but hey two heads are better than one
buying from King Arts directly is cheaper yes but the site is a bit complicated
yes there is an exclusive version for the Spazer (comes with an extra head half exposed shows the mechanical details inside and the other half is covered) but if you go with the regular release you will only get an extra head that is only exposed, the exclusive version of the Drill & the Marine Spazers comes with an exposed fist, if you goes with the regular you wont get anything
yes if you buy all 3 sets you can display them all together and its a glorious sight
i dont have Kouji or Duke figures since im into robots only but according to friends who got them they are good, not wow just good
if you want to complete all 3 robots Mazinger z, Great Mazinger, and Grendizer you got alot of options
you can pick Bandai Soul of Chogokin GX-70, GX-73 and GX-76, thats robots only if you want the Spazers for Grendizer you need to get GX-76X and GX-76X2
the DX is a Great option since it offer the best Mazinger z and Great Mazinger, but sadly not Grendizer even tho they showed a blueprint way back in 2016, and yes the DX is better than the King Arts so get them if you can afford them, but keep in mind the DX Mazinger is two sets, one is the figure and its accessories and the other is the Jet Scrander which is an exclusive item that comes with couple of accessories as well
i will back up mpchi for Juohmaru and tell you to get Johumaru from Fewture its spot on and amazing i have 3, the very first one and two of the repaint version, the price now is high so i recommend you wait for another reissue, Fewture will do more robots from the show and they will reissue Johumaru as well
check this thread
keep in mind Fewture take their sweet time with their figures so its up to you get one now or wait for a reissue
as for Mazinkaiser the DX is a very long shot but there is couple options out there, my personal favorite is Bandai's the GX-75 but it have a fatal design error, the chest plate have an extremely thin plastic rod that could get broken easily, i remember someone was selling a diecast version for it, but even with that error its still the best Mazinkaiser up to date in my opinion
hope that info helped you

Thank you that was very helpful.
Other than King arts website what is a other good site to order the spacer from from a good price?
The King arts Grendizer with all the spacer combined on he base will it fit in a detolf?
I will try to track down DX mazinger and great mazinger.Do they also fit in a detolf? what is the best way and less dust to display them?
I will wait for a reissue of Juohmaru. I need to hold myself back and not try to buy all this toys that remind of my childhood, i just realized astroganger has a collector action figure.
Now if captain future, iron man or future boy conan had toys that would break my bank.

most welcome man
sadly the release is a bit old, so its hard to find it on stores and the prices on ebay is very high IF you can find them in the first place the Spazers are very rare to come by
depends on your detolf, the main problem is in Grendizer Spazer its very wide so it might not fit, its 47cm from wing to wing 18"
again depends on your detolf Great Mazinger is about 32.5cm about 12.8" Mazinger is abit shorter, less dust to display them dont use the Hanger they come with since its a dust magnet, use the regular stand to display them, i dont recommend displaying them without the stand because there will be some pressure on the legs, the stand will give them good support, its just me been extra careful
best Astroganger is by a company called 5 Pro Studio there are 3 versions, Anime color, Fake color and Live metal which is the most expensive due to the awesome paint
Captain future have a figure for the ship, by HL Pro just google HL Pro Metaltech 011 Captain Future Future Comet
Iron Man you mean the Marvel one or Izenborg ?
Future boy Conan have a figure by Figma
