I tried My Kombini this morning when I got up and was pleasantly surprised to see a PO and the price they had. Happily got my PO in.
I never used them before though and so, hopefully that's it! I didn't have to pay but the paranoid person thinks I should in case they wipe out my PO.

Now the issue is that p-bandai has sold out of the strike packs. I'm wondering if NY purchased enough units to cover the orders they are getting. I places my order with them morning. This is such a sh*tfest with Bandai. Good thing I'm done with the SOC line as I have orders for both Voltrons. I'll consider the Roy 1s and the full armor but that's about it.

P-Bandai is sold out most likely due to these store going in and preorder many batches of 6 so they can fill all their presale preorders. Now if the store is late in this then they can either hope Bandai do a 2nd batch or just a bit before refunding . Most proxy stores are good at planing this , know how much they can get and start presaling . They will have a team and order right when it starts so even if Bandai is sold out later , they will not be effected because they already have their orders in . They can still sell the reminders. Which proxy store to use when this happens will depends on their previous delivery record , Biginjapan have a good record N-y have a good record except for the strange dx vf-31a |

I went with NY and paid for it early yesterday. Hopefully, they immediately purchased the units. I did open a ticket inquiring about it. Also, I'm looking for another 1S to get. I was vigilantly watching Mykombini and decided to take a short nap. Guess when they opened the pre-orders for it? -_- |

Their packing method is highly careless even for expensive items....They absolutely don't care about it. I had to open a paypal dispute to return the item ! And to top it all, they are extremely harsh and unreasonable when they're dealing with issues. Yeah, thanks. I did a search online of their rep and it's spotty. At this point though, beggars can't be choosers and unless I want to pay nearly double, I have no play right now. Here's hoping I get a safely arrived product. I selected EMS which at least offers the highest amount of insurance. I fully understand : there's currently no good alternative for a reasonable price. Anyway, I hope everything is going to be all right  |

Again, per my mini-rant in the Dairugger thread, getting an action figure isn't supposed to be like this...I've been at this since 1999 and it's only been the last few years where PO-ing a Bandai gokin toy has become this idiotic.

Sigh. No way am I gonna catch this if it keeps happening early morning on my time zone. I bet it was NY that bought it because it's up on their website again. Lol! Its like chasing a uncorn at the end of a rainbow farting butterflies! Why cant Bandai made more of these DX? Because they're stupid. I guess factory limitations on capacity. They have lots of products lined up. But even still, they could leave the PO open for some time and release the products in waves. It works for the Hot Toys crowd when ordering through Sideshow. |
