so … 350 + $ for a SRC level !! that is a good bang for our bucks Didn't you say you're not buying it? I was tempted , still tempted … but being a 350 + $ SRC is not helping at all, I feel sorry for the guys who can't resist and will bite into this including me!

No reason to fake pity people buying what they enjoy. That really makes no sense. Personally I don't agree with your stance and would rather have something with moderate diecast that can actually handle the engineering and combined weight vs. something loaded with diecast just to appease marks that breaks under its own weight. And no it has nothing to do with being a fan of Sentinel (who I've been more critical of than literally anyone on this board if you paid attention) but rather having owned enough pieces from a multitude of companies to apply some logic into what I see in terms of the engineering and gimmicks of this piece vs. the downfalls that added weight can bring.

I am not fake pitying no one and if you felt that way it is your thing man. you over ready my lines. also I am not saying being loaded with metal like aoshima level! as a matter of fact I am not saying put more metal in it! I am just saying the asked price is not reasonable for what you are going to get. as simple as that. You can be fan of Sentinel all you want but that doesn't change the fact that what I am complaining about is legit. it is ok to disagree man , you love sentinel and I understand it. I love some of their pieces but I believe they ask for outrageous high prices for what they give.

I could care less about the diecast contents, but I'm definitely not happy with its size. I was expecting it to be at least as big as the Mazinkaiser. The price is actually alright, I mean SRC Spazer set was $200, and SOC Grendizer with Spazer is almost $300.
not really
the SRC Grendizer with the Spazer was sold for $110 + around $40 shipping and the total is $150 shipped
and with the GX76 and GX76X you get more for your money

its not a surprise guys
this is Sentinel recipe they give you less and ask more and they are doing it for so long its not a new trend for them
for me i was interested and now im more interested after this photo
not anime accurate but i love it when they try to come up with cool new ways and gimmicks
for me i will (try) to wait for the feedback of the people who will get it, specially those who got 3 (yes TJ thats you ) then i will decide
i guess if you really dig this design and love Grendizer the price will be just a number lol
paid alot of money for the EX Gokin no regrets whats so ever

I don't want to come off like I feel like your complaints are invalid because that definitely isn't the case. I understand better where you're coming from after this clarification with eh Aoshima comparison (which is more towards what I thought you were getting at.) Definitely some more in areas like the calves could give it a little bit more weightiness but what's in there isn't "bad" in my opinion. That's all. I understand wanting the most you can get for a price point but what a lot of people don't take into account is that companies who produce items with more diecast in them also don't have the engineering and internal parts counts that these figures do. There's a balance in there that isn't taken into account. I could care less about the diecast contents, but I'm definitely not happy with its size. I was expecting it to be at least as big as the Mazinkaiser. The price is actually alright, I mean SRC Spazer set was $200, and SOC Grendizer with Spazer is almost $300. This is more where I'm coming from. The price actually isn't "bad" by either Sentinel or other Gokin company standards. Hell, the Gravion being $400 was much more of a mess than this IMO.

Thank you, finally you got it ! yes … I don't want an Aoshima , but some metal in the calves or the feet won't hurt them and it would definitely add more value to a border ray of collectors.

you're right about SRC Grendizer, I got confused with the jacked up current price lol. As for the SOC, right now amiami sells Grendizer for $140 and $120 for the Spazer. Don't forget that most us bought them separately which means another $20 And no, you don't get more for the SOC. While smaller than Mazinkaiser, Sentinel Grendizer is still bigger than SOC with the state of art Sentinel engineering. Not to mention the Spazer that turns into space armor.
i dont blame you man sometimes its hard to believe the original price of some toys
and yes we paid for them separately but some stores like AE are combining them into one set its up for $230
why i think with the SOC you get more, from what i know the SOC is almost 19cm (about 7.4 inches) while the Riobot is 17cm (about 6.6 inches) so its a bit smaller than the SOC and the SOC comes with much more accessories and the double spazer all are plastic yes but it counts lol
on the other hand Riobot give some cool articulation and a transforming spazer
i think both are good and offers a new flavor for Grendizer even with the price of the Riobot is a bit high

The Sentinel numbers are usually 2~3cm lower than the actual product's height (ie. Mazinkaser was listed as 18cm in their web site, but it's actually about 21cm) I actually measured Grendizer's height from the comparison photo and it's about 19cm. About as tall as SOC Grendizer maybe slightly taller, but it's much bulkier than the skinny SOC lol. It's proportions are similar to the SRC I think

Sentinel on their own site has had the date of both January and April for a bit now. I tried to state prior that it looked like two release dates and peeps tried to shut me down. I believe that the January for the non-spzer one is accurate.

i think NY made a mistake or they didn't update their system yet
