These look amazing. It still bugs me that the one Decepticon in the movie that isn’t a triple changer that’s the one they call Blitzwing! LOL

LOL I think I read somewhere that he apparently can, but he just doesn't get the chance. Also, according to a 3A employee who posts on TFW, we should be getting the announcement of the next figure in the line up in March and that they will be doing Bumbleebee's version of Optimus in this line at some point. From the early reviews I've seen, these seem pretty close to the Transformers equivalent of a Metal Build (even the stands look very much like a Metal Build stand).

No official announcement yet, but would make sense. The 3A employee who posts on TFW said they'd be announcing the next DLX in March and that also that they would be doing this version of Prime. There's a big TF convention in LA next weekend I think, so it'd be a good time to make the announcement.

Just saw your review pop up on my Youtube feed during lunch, looking forward to watching it when I have a bit more free time. Quick question though, how does this stack up against Flame Toys' Kuro Kara Kuri line? They both seem to be something like TF versions of Metal Builds, but with different aesthetics and I haven't seen anyone else really compare the two lines.

Just got my notification from BBTS that they'll be getting their stock within the next week. Really looking forward to getting this guy!

Prime is up for PO on BBTS- www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/95426Looks really, really cool. DLX Bee is probably my favorite version of Bumblebee that I have, and the price is way, way better than MP-44 and probably the Kuro Kara Kuri coming up in the next few days from Flame Toys (I'm really hoping to snag both the Kuro Kara Kuri and this for the same price as MP-44 at MSRP)

Got my (2nd batch) Bumblebee and it really is that magnificent.
No ratchet joints, but the articulations were REALLY stiff out of the box. I was mildly disappointed when I didn't see any butterfly joints at the shoulders, until I watched Kumastyle's review again and realized that it actually did have them. I just had to push them uncomfortably hard. The joints did get a little easier to move after playing with the figure a bit. I don't know how it will fare in the long run; if it will hold up or become a floppy mess.
It's a 3A paint job, so it's obviously good. The pics don't lie: it's really that gorgeous. They know how to do great weathered paint.
Too bad the first batch of DLX Optimus Prime sold out just as I finally got this one, but I'll sure be jumping on the second batch preorders opening next week (June 17).
