Anime Export had it an hour ago for $1500 & now they listed another one for $1625 (-_- ) The crazy thing is, that's still better than some crazy scalper prices I've seen in Asia ($3000+)

ohhhhhhhh shhhhhhhiiiiiiit PRO Paint job is superb. Better than Metal Build's paint job Articulation is limited but still better than expected gear joint (some joints only) Cockpit LED has breathing mode CON lots detail and accent marks in many different color. Overall looks messy Can't see many metal parts and probably all hiding underneath The folding connection point of the bazooka is not very solid

Haha, yeah, exactly. Almost all reviews or impression video I've seen, the guys didn't read instructions well and didn't know about the Bazooka lock by sliding the fore grip handle. Feel like people just tried to rush the videos out for views. Some say its too plasticy and complain where was the metal (all hidden under panels and joints). Others complained the articulation when that was stated early that it has limited articulation and that was not the emphasis. Kind of feel like some just try to complain so they have something to nitpick about the high price. While I think there is always room for improvement, some complaints I saw on other videos or forums are not very reasonable, or just excuse to make them feel better not buying the thing. The most common complaint I heard is "Its just a PG kit with a ridiculous price tag", but forgot all about the paint, new things they tried, the diecast...etc. can some one tell me why this thing is so expensive im not interested in it but i want to know why ? Lots of parts (2000 Bandai boasted). Quite a lot of metal. Very big. Very detail sculpt and engineering on the moving panels in fashion that no other figures or kits had done before. Paint & finish. Pretty much it is a 37cm PG kit with Metal Build like structure, plus a lot of detail fancy panel gimmicks (while articulation takes a back seat to make room). You can say its the most detailed mass-produced finished Gundam figure Bandai ever designed. But with all that said, its a personal take whether all that is offered justifies the very high asking price (hence the debate on forums).

game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/series/tamashii/1225697.htmlInterview with Bandai's project supervisor, showcasing a bunch of images. Nice to see the feet has good contact with the ground with wider A-stance, as that was another complaint I heard reviews mentioning Nu lacks, due to very limited ankle rocker. Holy smoke, the interview mentioned Nu weights 6kg!

Bandai deliver what they promised.. With internal metal structure, Led lights, good production finishing, open hatches.. To me the price tag of 102,000 yen is justifiable.. But not the after market 150,000 yen or 200,000 yen price..just like the MB strike freedom can go double the Retail price... And when you open up and look at it, and wonder why a USD 450 mark up figure does not justify what u pay for.. It because the retail price is only half of it.. To me Metal structure nu gundam is nice but not USD1500 nice...

Could be a typo on the interview article. Closer to 2 kg, instead of 6 kg (unless they included everything like the weapons, stand, and packaging).

This thing Will be the center piece of any gundam collection. Between the fact that this is a super limited release and that it is one of the most iconic mobile suit in the history of the franchise (this is the last mobile suit amuro rides, the one he uses in chars counter attack!, i know it is obvious but I'm just putting emphasis in its value as an iconic piece, in my opinion only the rx78-2 surpass it in that deparment). I hope this release doesn't mean that the a MB will be delayed (we all know that this one and sazabi should happen sooner or later). If I had the money I would go up to 2500 for something like this (I'm not saying that the price is cheap, I think 1000 is the right price, but I'll go up to that in the secondary market). Anyway, I'm really happy for the bros, that got one. Looking forward for some homemade pictures and reviews on this masterpiece.

I was holding out for a reissue. But the moment i saw the real deal standing in Akihabara’s Tamashii Nations, i snapped and bought one at secondary market price. But what the heck, the RX-93 is my all-time favourite Gundam, I would never forgive myself if I don’t own this haha Now i have to figure out which section of my shelf i need to vacate to hold this bad boy.

More modern appeal, and less comparable existing product. Everyone can fall back onto a PG RX-78 kit for a much cheaper option. But there is no PG scale Nu ever made. And as a center piece display, Nu beats RX-78 for a lot of folks in terms of coolness. Even for folks that had their taste on the Formania Nu bust, this release is a good lure as "now you get the whole body, and then some..." Personally, I do like the Formania Nu sculpt a bit more, especially the head and the shoulder blocks. But I can see why they went with a more classic arrangement, since this product is all about being iconic.

Especially since the RX-78 has gotten a lot of releases (chief among them the Fix Figuration treatment, times three!) and Nu hasn’t gotten much. The Formania release which is not a full figure and a Master Grade kit.

oh man, I can't wait! Nu is one easy top 3 for me. I wish I cant get double fin funnel but I'll settle with one set Congrats to the bros who got one. Just waiting for my local dealer to get this badboy in stock. With MBs the bulk of my collection this would indeed be my centerpiece So pretty much when I get him in my hands, read/check manual, check detailed reviews as I don't want to break parts as this figure is ultra expensive I'll keep the bazooka lock in mind Also if anyone can translate the review some of the key points that was just posted - that would be great
