Is it me or the fin funnels for the metal structure does not lock on the metal attachments? How the heck do you lock the funnel to the metal attachment? Keeps falling They lock. Might need to look at a video if you have trouble with it. But they do. There are a couple nubs on the attaching point on the metal (the trapezoid plate) that creates friction and sort of 'hook' onto the black inner area of the Fin Funnels, after lifting the dark gray flap on the funnel all the way, and the metal trapezoid plate sit snug all the way into the spring-loaded slot. Decently secure once its all the way in. Won't fall even if you shake it or wiggle the funnels individually, and needs to pull at a certain angle to release it. Use the small side hooks on each funnel to make the whole assembly even more secure, in case one or more of the metal attachment is loose, you still have the others to help holding the loose ones in place. And I find it easiest to have the whole rack of fin funnels assembled on the metal attachment piece first, before putting on the backpack. If you have 2 sets and doing the double fin funnel look, follow the instruction order on the left set in the manual, going funnel 1, then 2, then 3,4,5 & 6. But on Nu's right set, reverse the order putting onto the metal attachment, going 6 on the far end first, then 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 working towards the center. The reverse order makes it much easier to use the small side hooks, without having them getting in the way and scratch up the funnels while you struggling with them. They didn't teach any of the reverse order in the manual unfortunately. Hope this helps. |

Hi guys, I'm able to purchase a Metal Structure Nu with double fin funnel set and lando bell engineers. I have no interest for the engineer set and the extra set of fin funnels both have been opened but not displayed. What would be a decent price to ask for these 2 sets and is there anyone here interested in them? I'm in europe but I can ship worldwide.

First of all, reconsider getting rid of them. - Engineering Set may not be as important. I almost skipped it, until I saw it on discount on ebay, which also means it is not sought after and won't fetch you much. Either you sell it to break even, or lose a little money getting rid of it. - Funnel Sets fetch a really good price, but is also the signature weapon of Nu. I would think twice selling them if I were you (I have them too). With a single set installed, Nu will stand lopsided, leaning one side due to uneven weight. Double Fin Funnel with the display stand support is the way to go. Together they are very heavy. If you really want to sell them, pretty easy to sell for double the price. Check what ebay sold auctions went for (not the crazy ones), and go from there. But losing the Funnels really cripples Nu, so think twice on that. You may never get them back. |

That is a weird addon set. I got the other ones for my Nu but I think I'll pass on this one. I don't even have room anyways to display it all as is.

Tamashii Web Shop US just listed the Fin Funnel Option Parts Set (reissue). Preorders start 2/13 at 10 pm. Price has gone up to $280 and a maximum of 1 piece per person.
I thought they said somewhere that the reissue was going to have the fin funnels included? Obviously that was not the case with the price of the reissue, but I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

I agree, I will probably skip it. Beside the cost if you display the Nu with all the options, you like need a dedicated room for it, it'll take up so much space!
