According to some speculation on Tag Hobby, Tamashii may be getting ready to announce a new line called "Metal Structure", which I believe would be the Metal Build equivalent of a Soul of Chogokin DX. If it's the same type of figure that was shown at Tamashii Nations 2017, they were 1/60 scale, and the line would start with Nu Gundam. Tamashii is announcing something new this weekend at the Tokyo Toy Fair, so this may be it. www.taghobby.com/archives/376139

I hope they also give us metal build Nu gundam... I've been waiting it forever. All my gundam collection is 1/100 so no place for this stuff. Although it looks really cool...

Nu Metal Structure - 93,000 yen + tax if you are based in Japan.
*Funnels not included* Looks like a Tamashii web exclusive

Thought this was a joke, until I clicked the link and saw the pics and price. Was excited for a brief moment, but then excitement subsided as I see more pics. While the sculpt is really detailed, I don't know if it is the best looking of Nu that I've seen. Feel like the MG Ver. Ka, or even the RG has a better sculpt, just not as big and ultra detailed as this. Also, when paying almost a grand and doesn't even come with the signature Fin Funnels, its not very encouraging. And I think my FormaniaEX Nu bust has better proportion than this, even if its not as detailed (probably similar or same scale). Still cool to see something like this made. Just not sure if I'll own one.

ammmm, looks like it is still articulated but not too much it seems or very limited.
Also noticed that the fin funnels are just on a stand - meaning that the funnels would be too heavy? ?
Yeah I know, I wish it was a joke as well, here I was thinking the price would be on par with a DX Soc, lol

It’s expensive but the high price is reasonable. I just don’t see myself buying this unless I can get it at a nice discount. Due to the size and weight , shipping will be high too .
Preorder madness is in a couple of hours.
It will most likely be a calm and quiet night

Something is suspicious. Fin funnels are extra and they are attached to a stand. There is no photos of Nu Gundam with his famous "half backwing" look with the fin funnels. What is going on?

The price is awful. T_T
Do you guys think it will have a wide range of motion because of the mode transformation gimmick?

Didn't expect it to be 90K yen + I thought only in the range of 45K yen like the DX SoC.
I'm out to pricey for me, looks like you can't put the funnels on the back and limited range, looks very nice though I got to say.

I'm priced out as well.
It's up on CDJapan, ¥93000 & ¥7430 shipping. $_$

I think this will be great... I don't expect less articulation than the MB line. I'm pretty sure this will be a masterpiece but I'm priced out. Also it's a really bad scale to collect unless you have a lot of space or don't want to own many figures. As a gundam fan, and as a third world collector with little space, I'll stay with the MB line.

I'd be more excited if they went with a different aesthetic than the same tired Evolve/ver Ka that's been used on both the MG and upcoming RG. Of course, those are model kits, but I don't see much on this $1000 figure that substantially deviates from what we've already seen with this particular incarnation of the design. Do we really need another Nu Gundam with opening psychoframe panels? The LEDs are nice- but compared to recent PG efforts like Exia, it's nothing to write home about. And it doesn't even come with the signature funnels...
I'm just not sure who the audience for this is.

Upon closer look on the fin funnel set, it does come with 2 racks that forms the "wings" for Nu, one for left and one for right. I suppose Nu can wear them on the back afterall, otherwise they don't need to include those parts.
