I am on the fence to order but seems the PO period was very short : seems not good in term of schedule strategy. kotaku.com/it-s-not-looking-good-for-hasbro-s-4-6-million-transfo-1837201292And ZETA announced their own version which gonna be good and probably cheaper in price. Rumors say Hasbro recently changed his position against 3p, specially companies "walking on the same grass". -> KO of course but also designs from the movie franchise. Hype is hot actually in China. Have a look on DX9 stuff, they are transformable and both mode are good.

Looks cool, want to get one but no idea where to put this guy My Fort Max still stands on the carpet floor in a corner of my bedroom. I wouldn't worry too much about where to put it, as long as your significant other has no issue with a toddler size robot in the presence. Heh. I have not put in my order yet, but will do it soon. Just thinking if I just want 1 or 2. I have very bad luck on QC (my previous Takara Unicron has 2 left jaws in planet mode LOL), so getting an extra can both serve as an insurance in case I get a defect, and a backup in case a friend later wants one, or sell it later to make some money, given my 1st is problem free. And just my way to help push the funding with an extra effort. So more likely I can afford to push for 2. The current numbers are indeed not encouraging, as it significantly slowed down once it passed 2000 mark. Though I am thinking a lot of the foreign orders and shop preorders are not accounted for in the current total, and many like myself are still waiting or raising funds before committing to the purchase. So the last minute bump can be significant. But how big that bump is going to be is very much unknown. A huge 4000 orders bump may still be not enough unfortunately.

Price is always it for me....
I enjoy vintage and at about $600 I'll fill in a hole in my vintage collection. Just miss the days when expensive toys were $180 max.
That said, rad, awesome, incredible, and I want to break -umm- play with it! LOL

-you know..... I'll do a reversal on this . I did NOT know it was an official toy release by Hasbro. Haslab is a new concept (been out of the loop).
I'd love for it to work but pricing is still a tough point. That said, I may add an order to incrementally throw in support. It is Unicorn after all!
Added in two orders for support, one for me, one for ?? should this get off the ground. That said, numbers on signups are edgy......

8 more days left, and it is still crawling to hit 3000/8000. This is going to be very interesting on the very last day, when all the international orders and big e-retailers dump in their orders last minute. I really hope they will be enough to push over 8000 orders. New transformation video. A lot of shell-forming, though never bothered me. Still pretty neat for all those shells to stack and tug away neatly. And one cool feature is that you can transform the whole thing while lifted on the display stand the whole time. Very handy for such heavy and complex figure. NEWS FLASH - Hasbro Pulse mentioned on Instagram that they got around 1500 orders from from global affiliated retailers (probably meant TakaraMall in Japan and any other official channels from other countries). That makes it close to 4500 at the time I am typing this. Still a long way to go. Wonder how big of an impact other online retailers' orders will have, like BBTS, TFSource, and many other smaller shops that are not directly linked to Hasbro. You can play with the transforming more than 2-3 hours I believe! No more complaining of Transformers cannot transform! lol

4860/8000 now (added the initial 1500 global orders), with a swappable goatee and tiny Galvatron added as bonus. Still a long way to go within the last 4 days.

With 3 days left, we are at 5249 of 8000.
Not liking the odds. Let’s hope they enter some big orders in these last few days.

Yeah, very exciting time, and I have been following it pretty closely, checking the progress quite a few times a day, as well as the long 500+ pages thread at TFW2005 (quite a bit of drama and negative trolling though, but that's internet for you). Its really hard to believe it will make it with the current pace. Lucky to hit 6000/8000 on HasLab orders by the deadline. Though all the unknown orders from all online stores worldwide will play a big role on the last min at the end. Will the numbers be enough to save Unicron? Or will Hasbro do some behind the scene adjustments if the orders are very close but a bit short nonetheless? Lots of speculations right now.

Finally.
Someone on Hasbro has some sense to do what they should have done earlier.

My feeling for this Unicron is that it’s coming out. Hence the extension of time.
I think they have advertised this one so much that it’s definitely being made. If you go to the Haslab website, you see how much they have put into this one verses other projects.

Hope they do some internal behind the scenes to make it happen.

Looks great! This may be the crowning jewel of many transformers collection. I'm pretty sure in one or two years this thing will easily double it price. So happy I'm not collecting transformers... this would be a must have.
