Looks like they added more articulations on the fingers too. Great news!
The funny thing is, I totally forgot to follow the news during the last hours to see how the funding go. Just found out this morning that it did make it. The last I checked was on Friday and it slightly passed the 7000 mark. But very happy this is happening!

I was super excited to hear about this, and I was a day one backer. I was also lucky enough to attend a press event to see this. I’m in for this and looking forward to the release.
On the funding model, I can understand why some fans do and do not support it. Personally I like it because it does give a company like Hasbro a way to get an item to fans. The price is higher than I would like, but the toy is pretty cool. The Star Wars Sail Barge provided a success story and I think we will see more of these projects going forward.

Its here...to eat our shelf space! Minor gripes on the exposed screw holes on one arm due to reuse/reverse of the same arm parts. It comes with screw hole covers, but not sure if I want to seal them up in case I need to take it apart to fix a joint. For some reason, the mouth/maw on planet mode has grey plastic instead of all orange color around the teeth like in the prototypes. Silver paint apps on robot mouth & teeth, hands & feet are also missing. Also wished those upper arm & thigh swivels were also ratchets. Some downgrade going on on the final, but man...it is so solid and awesome still! Assembly video link below, showing the factory putting Unicrons together. Guess transformation of this beast is part of the assembly...and some room for breakage?
