You don't want Amiami to remove the batteries. It may literally means open up and play with your beloved Voltes with screw drivers  I honestly don't mind Surface Mail if it means the difference from $30 to $300 DHL. I am a patient man. UPDATE: Turn out you can change your shipping method now by just going to your account and "Modify Existing Order". Since I am in US, DHL and Surface Mail are the only 2 options for me. I just went ahead and updated it to Surface a moment ago. While not ideal to wait 2-3 months, $200-300 just to ship the DX doesn't sit right with me. That's an extra Metal Build or a DX valk (with markup lol). Which store is offering Surface Mail? Unless is a DHL thing, I'm sure you can ship goods with batteries as long as the batteries are secure in the item - i.e. not loose and separate Amiami. |

My Amazon JP order is being prepared for shipping. If Amazon and HLJ can ship DHL without issues then Amiami can. Oh yeah! Amazon JP just charged my card too and should be getting the tracking number shortly! |

My Amazon JP order is being prepared for shipping. If Amazon and HLJ can ship DHL without issues then Amiami can. Oh yeah! Amazon JP just charged my card too and should be getting the tracking number shortly! Me too! Looks like it went up about $40 with the taxes. |

Bros, I got the shipping payment request as well from anime export. It’s weird because it’s asking 21440 yen for fast shipping and 21440 yen for economy . What?? I’m located in Texas

Not confirmed but guessing is fast shipping dhl..never paid that much for shipping.. now i just can imagine how much is gonna be for Daiku Maryu dx..oh well

Odd turn around from Amiami. Just received the payment request, but they told me the DX Voltes is not eligible for Surface Mail (even though DHL & Surface were the only options for US). Instead, they want to charge me with EMS for 11530 yen shipping. Thought EMS is not an option for US, but now they want me to pick that instead. While the price is more reasonable and I just paid for it, but I am very confused at this point. The status is now "Processing shipping". Hope it is not some system hiccup and I'll see some update if the Voltes is actually getting shipped.

If it is not a system error, I am suspecting that they are just going to put my order in the limbo/storage and wait for Japan Post to clear, or became part of their "Surface Premium" that they slowly sending out as a batch. But it would suck if they knowingly the delay but still charge me EMS for it... Best case scenario would be some recent update that they managed to get some stuff shipped out as EMS or similar service that was not part of their general shipping announcement. Fingers crossed. |

Mykombini also has shipped DX VV. 21K for shipping, holy moly! But yeah, no choice since alot of countries have blocked EMS.  |
