Guys is the Batteries pre-installed with Voltes V? Thanks No. The batteries are separately placed in a plastic tray among some of the accessories. Not pre-installed. Thanks for the reply bud. Really appreciate it. |

After a very long wait I finally got mine. What are some parts I should be careful with, and are there an QC issues I should know of?

no QC were reported and i didnt see anything to complain about on my end
the figure is a tank so you should be fine, but be delicate with the Volt Cruiser (head) and make sure parts are not in the way when you transform it

Yeah, mainly the head has some small parts. And I had trouble combining the arms and torso the first time, not going all the way down to sit flush on the shoulders. But watching a video combination should clear stuff up, if the instruction manual was not as clear. I vaguely remember I combined it out of order causing the issue. Some of the parts of the display stand go together very tight and locks, so might get tricky separating them and put them back into the box later.

I remember one member here who's Volt Bomber didn't have the clip to connect the head and I watched a video where one of the feet connectors on Volt Frigate wouldn't lock correctly and so whenever the figure was lifted the foot would immediately drop. Not fall off, just drop down. |

the Volt Lander became like Mazinger z elbow, you need to attach it fully and the right way so it wont drop down
but even with that issue i dont think it will take some of the figure electromagnetic

Deym finally opened played and displayed this monstrosity robo. Only gripe was that I cant fit V symbol inside my detolf. Did anyone tried displaying it inside? Again loving this DX Voltes V!

even tho the V is so good looking i didnt display it since the base take ton of space (and i have space)
but i try to make my display clean only robots

Not local (I am in North Cal Bay Area), but been to Frank & Sons once a few years ago. But man....$1800 for the DX, plus CA tax too (almost 10%)....Ooooof!

I just went to Frank&Sons last weekend.... Some of the places are asking the moon for chogokin items. Cant blame them because they have to pay Frank and his sons for the rent... lol
