Down to 19,000jpy AJ oh my. If you're on the fence I think this price is insane! I bought it myself yesterday when I saw it had dropped to that number. Even if it drops further by year's end it's still a fair price. Keep in mind though that this is not really that far from the original price of SOC Daltanius. People probably thought the price hike was too far for just an extra lion head.

Well, I bit the bullet. The price dropped to ¥15,703 and with the 3300 for shipping, the price was still too damn good to pass up from Amazon JP.
Ordered.
FYI for those who still are interested in getting this reissue.

I have the original SoC but given the noticeable differences in the reissue, it was tempting. Then, I kept watching the price drop and when it hit 44%...I was like, fark it. Ah well, world is ending, may as well die happy.

Hi guys, here's my "better late than never" review for the Gx-59R Daltanious. Please click on the image to proceed to the review. Man... the SRP for this thing really dropped. At the current clearance prices, this set is way too good to pass up. I'd recommend getting one if you can. Gold

It is a very nice figure, and even though I could have gotten it even cheaper if I waited I don't regret paying what I did for it.

Thanks for the review gold... if someday i catch up the SOCs and metal builds I have in my personal list, I may go for this. This and gaogaigar are like tier 4 in my list of priorities.

Hi guys, here's my "better late than never" review for the Gx-59R Daltanious. Very nice review as always Gold Regarding the "color fade" that happened to the clear plastic parts of your GX-59. Just want to confirm if that's the first version from 2011, or is it the 2016 re-issue? If the figure wasn't exposed to heat or sunlight, maybe it's the leftover "oil" from the molds at the factory..? Any RJ bros/sis encounter the same problem with their GX-59s?

It is a very nice figure, and even though I could have gotten it even cheaper if I waited I don't regret paying what I did for it. Yeah, actually, I don't know if it's due to the pandemic or because Bandai just pumped 2020 full of reissues, but a lot of the SOC stuff for 2020 went on clearance (Black Ox, Daltanious, Leopaldon to name a few). Thanks for the review gold... if someday i catch up the SOCs and metal builds I have in my personal list, I may go for this. This and gaogaigar are like tier 4 in my list of priorities. Thanks! Yeah, this is a real nice set. Hope you can get this and GGG Thanks Gold for the story background and fun facts. All new to me! Thanks, hehe, I figured not many folks managed to watched this compared to the other Tadao Nagahama shows and it was worth the time to break down some of the story points in the review Hi guys, here's my "better late than never" review for the Gx-59R Daltanious. Thanks Watari , yeah it was never exposed to light or direct heat. Hmm.. good point, I wonder if it's the oil? I rarely wipe down SOCs out of the box. This is the original 2011 release. Gold

This is the original 2011 release. Gold Thanks for the info Gold Just checked the 2016 re-issue, no sign of discoloration. Very strange, there are several Bandai figures with clear plastic parts and this is the first time I've heard something like this happen. I know that they tend to be brittle over time, but this issue is new to me.

Thanks Watari, glad to hear your unit has no issues. It's very strange indeed. Sigh... oh well...
