Well this really blows. The peg for the other firing fist is so broken that it's nearly impossible to get it to stay plugged in anymore. And I'm not gonna try or else the little plastic that still remains is gonna break off, too!

I have still yet to have Nippon Yassan ship me my Leopardon and honestly I should have had an email from them a month ago.

I'm gonna message HLJ about possibly getting a replacement. I don't have much hope regarding that (although they've been good about replacing broken items in the past, I just think it's be a bit silly to ship the entire toy back to Japan just for this one small part!), so I'm considering maybe trying to dip the broken tip to superglue or some other kind of plastic cement solutions that hardens when it dries and then sanding it down to correct shape, but considering how brittle the plastic must've been for this to happen in the first place, I don't have much hope for that working out either.

If you are in the US try JB weld ... they offer a lot of variant but if you get the fire resistant (cost like $10) you can mix them together and achieve a really strong bond to plastic you can sand. Worth the try it takes a long time to dry (8hrs ) but when it’s dry it’s very strong and it will make the trick for you. To give you an idea one of my fire logs broke and it’s cement, I used the fire resistant from JB and let alone over night. The next day was rock hard and until this day ( 6 months ago) still strong and withstand heat 570*... you can try. Good luck

I've no idea, but I'd probably guess it's a one-off thing since there's two of these pegs in the box (since they come separate from the actual fists) and I only had this problem with the other one.

Finally got mine. I bought from a local who smuggle things (my country is like that, legally customs may stole or broke your package even when your are paying almost 130% in taxes) ended up paying 440usd. And I'm heartbroken amd very disappointed, really wanted this in my collection... box came in pristine condition, but figure came broken. The legs where they bend like wing plastic came stressed in front and behind (almost ready to break) and a big piece broken from the back of the left leg... anyone has any problem there? I dont know how to upload images here...Im stuck, here vendors dont offer guarantee.

Its a brand new item, seller got it from nin nin games. Box has not even one mark (i was happy to see the box so nice when it arrived). This seems like a qc thing, may be the person that put it in the box at factory drop it. The box was tape closed and I doubt seller opened it (he has very good rep). Offer to contact nin nin but i doubt there is something to be done from my country. First time I have trouble with a bandai item...and I had a lot of stuff from them. There seems to be a lot of QC problems with this one so if someone get it try to do it from a store with good customer service.

Yeah. I just had one of my fists get cracked and now the stump is missing.
Man this SoC Renewal feels very lazy so to speak. The QC issues on this isn't worth the extra price tag for the bracer......

You can't fix something like this with that technique. It's just shattered.

Hi guys, my review for the Gx-33R Leopaldon is up. Kindly click on the image to jump the review. Not bad, but not great. Bandai didn't improve a single thing on the actual toy, just removed the vinly 6" Spidey, added the Bracelet and called it a day. Sigh... Gold

Great review gold! I fixed half of the damage mine has right out of the box... fixed the neck and the leg. today I'll go further and disassemble the torso to try to glue the inner piece that turns the head (wish me luck). I really love this but I agree is a bit pricey, unfortunately not every R add or modified something for the best, many are just reissues with new color or accessories. Really interesting fact the stolen suit... I'm currently watching the show so ill pay extra attention to the final battle.

I'm thinking about maybe dipping the broken tip of the peg in some hot glue and then cutting/filing it down to correct size. Thoughts?
This is the kind of crap that made me not want to collect high-end toys anymore. Toys for children at least have better QC!

Ironically I payed a lot cause I thought this would be going up.in price.... damm... You win some, you lose some. Don't feel too bad. Or...you can get another one cheap, and sell your damaged one to cover the cost. Here is your chance.
