I just be happy with PG Sazabi to build IF...they plan to make one for you to build, that is. Just like how they never make a PG Nu Gundam kit, with Sazabi joining Metal Structure line, you may not see a PG Sazabi for a veeeery long time.

I didn't even think of Otakumode having it. Looks like they did carry it. They had a maximum order number of "3". Probably the first person to get them into their cart bought out their entire stock. LOL

Most online stores that carry it in US are sold out by now (google searched, with many familiar shops like BBTS, Entertainment Earth, Sure Thing Toys...etc.) Looks like P-Bandai US or Bluefin is not gonna bother with the release this time, unless we hear news from them later. From yesterday's ToysTV video live feed, someone in the live comment section mentioned there was only like 50-60 Sazabi distributed to the entire Hong Kong. It could be just a rumor, but LOL if it is true. With the way Amiami lottery out their stock, and some of our common stores like CDJapan and Anime-Export flat out didn't carry it, quite possibly that the amount of stock on Sazabi is even less than that of Nu Gundam, contrary to what people speculated or hope. Probably more luck if you have good local toys stores you know well that can take preorders in your area (most of us don't). There was zero chance for me to put in a preorder this time. At least for Nu Gundam, I had a 10 min window initially before Japanese stores' preorders sold out, and then later on from Bluefin (where I pulled the trigger) and some US sites. I am just scratching my head here with the low supply, as if Bandai didn't learn anything from the Nu Gundam release and the high demand Metal Structure has. Just feel bad for people that really want it will once again has to succumb to huge mark-ups, even if they are very well informed and prepared.

I was told by my local toy store that my stock is from Japan and will ship from Japan..i think how my store shop got their by price up till Japan counter part agreed to sell..Mean local distributor did not bring in to Singapore with retail price of 198000yen excluding shipping.
I think all available stock already sold.. Only transaction to higher bidder

I'm really not sure why Bandai did not just make this thing a Premium Bandai exclusive and just make the damn thing to order. Leave the pre-order open for a while to allow people to save up since P Bandai is pay upfront, but that's gotta be better than this current crap they are pulling.

Bad experience with P bandai exclusive too ,when items goes on sale say 4pm.. 3.59pm cannot access the Web page,by the time can access the Web pag... already sold out. Because reseller use a software call sneaker bot designed to help them purchase before we can get it..

TFsource sold it apparently, incognito. But, yeah...not happening. I love the Wasabi but it looks like I need to hope for a GFFMC iteration. That's the only way...and honestly, justifying $2K USD on an almost-statue-like toy is going to be a very hard sell to my wife.
Congrats to those who scored one in this thread. Post lotsa pics and impressions for those of us who could get one to admire from afar.

A Bandai stockholder in Japan said he was going to ask in the next shareholder meeting what the hell they were doing. He was venting asking if it was a captain-less ship.
I don't know what they are thinking. Driving up demand to this point doesn't benefit the company and they sure don't make more money out of it. If they had a lot of trouble producing them, they should've waited till they had a larger stock in the pipeline to sell. I thought sell through of Nu Gundam was poorly handled, but it looks like they learned nothing, don't care, or whomever was in charge of the Nu Gundam sales failed upwards. It's just a bizarre way to run a company.

But from a customer point of view, the Sazabi release is far worse than the already bad situation Nu Gundam brought. It really feels like they are not ready for putting up preorders, with the abysmal amount of stock they have distributing to shops. Some big online shops we bought Nu Gundam from flat out don't carry it is a very good hint of said situation.

So, of course it would be limited. I am unsure what is the uproar about. I mean, it's a bit unfortunate I can't get one but I had my shot...if I elected to pay a bit more with Image Anime a few posts back when I shared it in the thread.

I think it is more of the fact that there appears to not be enough product to balance out the purchases of the Nu Gundam. On top of that, there are people who wouldn't buy the Nu Gundam, who would definitely buy the Sazabi. You may have decided not to spend the increased price at Image Anime (I don't think I would either), but there are obviously those who thought it was okay. As for it being a limited item, is it really? It wouldn't be the first time they re-released something. One of the Japanese trailers for the Sazabi hints at a re-release of the Nu Gundam at the very end of the trailer. If they do re-release the Nu Gundam, then I really have no clue what they are doing. I can see re-releasing it if the Sazabi was produced in large quantities to give buyers the chance to get the previous piece, but as of right now, it just makes me scratch my head.

^ Yeah, I think that's fair. I am just saying that an "action figure" that has a $2K sticker is very niche and that Bandai likely accounted for it when they decided on the numbers to produce. Like, aside from the peeps in this forum and a small pocket of fans, how well known really is a Sazabi? I could walk down the street here and am pretty sure if I asked if anyone knew what it was, I'd get a zero.
Anyways, but, I get your point.

I would be scared if I walk down the street and everyone knows Sazabi, with half of them planning to get the Metal Structure.
