Anybody interested if the next Metal Structure is RX-93 RX-93ff Nu Gundam? I think the probability is high ... just do minimal modification and color change and u got 93ff

If you are an observer or collect watches, this is not that different than what you see with Rolex, Omega, and etc. It's not like Bandai products as a whole are limited...it's just this one...a $2K giant that is more a one-off than anything. So, of course it would be limited. I am unsure what is the uproar about. I mean, it's a bit unfortunate I can't get one but I had my shot...if I elected to pay a bit more with Image Anime a few posts back when I shared it in the thread. I think it is more of the fact that there appears to not be enough product to balance out the purchases of the Nu Gundam. On top of that, there are people who wouldn't buy the Nu Gundam, who would definitely buy the Sazabi. You may have decided not to spend the increased price at Image Anime (I don't think I would either), but there are obviously those who thought it was okay. As for it being a limited item, is it really? It wouldn't be the first time they re-released something. One of the Japanese trailers for the Sazabi hints at a re-release of the Nu Gundam at the very end of the trailer. If they do re-release the Nu Gundam, then I really have no clue what they are doing. I can see re-releasing it if the Sazabi was produced in large quantities to give buyers the chance to get the previous piece, but as of right now, it just makes me scratch my head. I saw in a facebook group Bandai will be holding a lottery for some leftover Metal Structure NU's they have left over somewhere in the back of their warehouse...

Boy, that is quite the markup. You can cancel it until Oct 30th, so I went ahead and pre-ordered it. I am probably going to wind up canceling, it's pretty hard to swallow 4800 bucks even for a holy grail figure. At least shipping is only 85 bucks.

It's honestly the only reason I might actually swallow 4800 bucks for the Sazabi so I have a matching set. (also CCA is pretty much my favorite gundam movie).

It's honestly the only reason I might actually swallow 4800 bucks for the Sazabi so I have a matching set. (also CCA is pretty much my favorite gundam movie). I just rewatched it last night actually. I always liked the movie and recognized its importance as the finale of the 2 characters I like the most in UC (Amuro & Char). But I have to say I still can't get by some of the dialogue and motivations of some characters (Quess, Gyunei, Hathaway to an extend). Even Char sometimes spill gibberish towards the end of the fight. Which got me to like the manga adaptation "Beltochika's Children" a lot more. I like the changes, the flow of the story, and just the way people talk and act are a lot more natural and their motivations make more sense on doing what they do. So happen Metal Build Hi-Nu is shipping now, got me re-reading it again fresh after watching Char's Counterattack, for a better comparison. Hopefully my Metal Build will also arrive in a few days, while I am at it.

Sigh, no luck with this at all. I hope Bandai reissue it later and allow more sites to sell outside of Japan.

I just wish Bandai would re-use the molds and make them PG gunpla kits There is a reason Bandai doesn't do this, because it sets themselves up for easy KO. It's like just giving Chinese factories the mold.

It had the shield. You can see it in the offical product page. www.tamashiinations.com/product/details.php?detail=895[Set Contents] Main Body Shield Beam shot rifle Beam tomahawk Beam sabers (x2) Beam effect set Funnels (x6) Stand That is part of the reason it's more then the Nu, they decided (rightfully IMO) not to package everything separate.

Maybe. This is Bandai we're talking about and they are the king of add-ons. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some engineer set, etc. after it releases.
