I finally got it. This is an improved Version of SoC. I think this is the best Voltron. Tight joints hefty die cast

Ive had this figure for a couple months now and I can say its definitely grown on me major after having it. When I first got this figure, I was amazed at the weight of this beast. Definitely the heaviest gokin out today from my standards(it makes gx-71 feel like a plastic figure). Pros 1. Most posable voltron/golion diecast figure of all time. 2. Material for the most part, top notch. Alot of love and passion was put into this build. 3. Looks amazing when lit up(however this feature is also a problem. Ill explain in cons). 4. Great display stand and accessories. 5. Excellent packaging. 6. Fits in perfectly with the DX SOC combiners as well as other 1/60 scale/DX scale robots. Cons 1. Led in the black lion head you have to be very careful when posing as the wiring is very delicate. Wires could snap if your not careful. Unfortunately this happened to me. 2. The heads of red and green lion can be very loose? I heard however this was fixed in the later batches(I believe bluefin will be getting the 4th batch which is the latest). 3. Pilots can be easy to lose so its best to just keep them in their packaging. 4. Some of the design choices are questionable(ratchet in red and green lions arms is half diecast/half plastic, however the plastic seems to be really sturdy quality so this may have been a good design choice overall). In regards to my first con, Blitzway has an After Sales program you can apply for via the store you ordered from(example showzstore for people who may have this on hand now). Its very similar to bandai/bluefin replacement program and if something is defective or broken, you can get a replacement part for the broken piece. In my case, black lion led replacement. So in about a month I received a new black lion head with a fixed led function and now my voltron eyes/face can light up again. That was probably my biggest issue with the figure despite being a great figure, the led system could of been better(they could of taken notes from DX Soul of chogokin designs). In comparison to the GX-71, I dont think it's necessarily fair to compare the 2 as blitzway is using a more modern system as far as functionality and gimmicks(lion limbs being covered). However, the GX-71 paved the way for this figure and others(threezero) to make figures more advanced In the design. Even with the lion limb covers, the GX-71 looks most accurate to the show. The Blitzway imho is a modern day interpretation of the classic design(basically realisitc). I think most people will settle for the gx-71 especially now because its much more accessible and rightfully so. However the blitzway is like a holy grail piece. Both are great options and either figure select is a good choice(with threezero being released in a month or 2). How do you apply for the after sales program?

You would have to email or contact the place you ordered the voltron from. Also since its in us now, you could also use the bluefin replacement program. For anyone Who needs a spare red or green lion, let me know. Blitzway sent me spare red and green lions when I had only requested a new head for black lion.

Yeah. Other than money the main thing keeping me from getting this guy is how poorly scaled he is to Dairugger.
I really loved having Golion and Dairugger next to each other in my old display. It feels off to have one of these Voltrons to tower over another.

I actually did hear a rumor from someone(forgot who) that blitzway was considering doing Vehicle Voltron also down the road(dont think it'll be soon as the next release will be Mickey and friends).

So I've been trying to figure out what batteries are used in the red and green lions. They look like CR-316 which are used in fishing lures. I don't have this figure yet, but have been trying to see if the batteries could be sourced before I got it.

I knew it was either the 316 or 311 but no way to figure it out from limited video shots. Thanks!

I think I would have like the green and red lions to have a bit more weight to them... they feel sooo light..

Made a unboxing video! I love this guy. Working on my review of him right now. Quick question for your guys. Are you going to apply the Lion number stickers? I kind of like mine without them. It looks like a lot of other collectors left them off too
