i agree with you guys, usually 3zero have nice paint and nice finishing but with this figure they made it look like a model kit more than a diecast figure
it feels more like a toy than a high end collectable, its a pass for me

Looks like a few people had issues with red and green lions not connecting to black lion. Not an isolated issue.
Also one reviewer said it felt so light in hand-
He says it's lighter than the Micro Cosmos Elvis but that's prob not true if he weighed them on a scale, our brain will fool us if a large and small item of the same weight were held while we are looking at them. The brain tells us the larger item SHOULD weigh more. But for him to get that impression about the TZ Voltron says a lot.

I have their Patlabor, and their EVAs, even have a few of the TF DLX from the Bumblebee movie and Netflix WFC series. They're all excellent figures... What the heck happened with this Voltron? Reminds me of their old 3A days, with their all plastic Getter Robo and Votoms, many had QC issues and joint breakage over time.

Looks like they wanted to make this retro vintage looking from reading description. I buy this if it was discount too and if I ever go back to office for work. This would be good desk toy fiddle around with when I’m bored on call. 😝

Could be that this is just what you get for $300 when dealing with Voltron these days. A combiner that is expensive to license to begin with.

I think there's a high chance this will drop to 50% or more for those of us willing to pick it up at that discounted price. Their Dancouga tanked hard and was available for 60% off, and it looks like Galient sales are poor as well. Really bad streak for the company. IMHO it's to do with numerous poor design choices on each release.

Might be in the minority here but I'm actually really excited for this to come out! While I can agree that it seems to be lacking in heft and presence compared to Bandai and Blitzway (it's got less metal than the SOC + less size AND metal when compared to Blitzway), the tradeoff is that this Voltron's articulation when combined looks second to none. Some of the poses it can pull off (as seen on TFW's Voltron thread) simply can't be done with a bot mode that's weighed down by full die-cast limbs; combine that with the paintjob and aesthetics and you have a Voltron that looks like it just stepped off an animation cel *and* can match just about any pose actually done in the show. It also looks as if ThreeZero knows about the arm connection error and is taking steps to ensure it's fixed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfvIj5iYSN0) so with any luck that'll be eliminated by the time it hits mass release.
I can hardly wait. This looks so good.

Yeah I saw ThreeZero Voltron is VERY possible compared to the other two.
I am always in support for companies that own up and fix or improve their product. (and take consumer’s feedback SERIOUSLY.)
