It feels too soon after the Blitzway one. Should have left it for a future release, but with since far developed proto is there's a good chance it was already far in development when the Carbotix was announced and they didn't want to delay it for that. It'll be much cheaper though, maybe even cheaper than the SOC.

Yeah this design looks utterly insipid, it looks like the designers cherry picked from the SOC and Blitzway and came up with a totally unoriginal design.

shoulders are very wide, the over all proportions looks a bit off, and the paint is below average those are the key area they need to focus on, if they dont overpriced it i might get one alot of my friends recommended this line, so Voltron will be a good start to check it out

no information yet, but i think its a combiner
we need alot of info about this like size, diecast content and where its located, how much and when you know the normal stuff lol

I assume this Voltron isn’t a combiner? It has folding wings. No need for folding wings if it's not a combiner. Also no need to hide the Lion legs if not combiner. Just don't make the Lion legs. So yes it's a combiner. |

not necessarily i mean some figures have folding wings but they are not combiners on the other hands some figures have visible legs but they are not combiners
its tricky to guess from those early pictures but i really hope its a combiner and they address the issue i mentioned

Odd move for ThreeZero. Bad timing and not very attractive execution, when we have SOC reissues and 5Pro sitting right there to be purchased. I am more interested in the 1/6 Ultraman Taro Suit on the left, and the Tekkaman to the right. Though from what I saw, they seem to have gone way overboard detailing the classic Tekkaman.

Based on Threezero ROBO‐DOU Dancouga. Dancouga is 13.5 inches tall, combiner and is $299. I assume voltron will share same size and price.

i think the timing is good, they are using the hype of both the SOC and the 5pro
another point this is an early prototype so it might take some time to release

It clearly is an early Prototype. If it is not a combiner and released at an affordable price (their evas or getters price range) this may became a big hit. If it is a combiner and they release it at almost 300usd like the SOC I think they may have a hard time finding their market share...
Anyway, as I said in the carbonix thread, I'm happy with my SOC and will stay faithful to it.
