Oh man. What will this cost I wonder? Hopefully similar to their Danguard Ace (about US$300 shipped, but much cheaper local in HK, as low as $220), assuming it is not a combiner. But if it combines...oh boy! |

If it combines, then it is a game changer for me. If it doesn't then I may have trouble pulling the trigger and go for the Moderoid kit to work on

Any chance this will be a combiner? As far i know only half eye studio made the perfect combination with premium price back to 2011 , around $500 that time  |

Don't think King's art ever tackled a Combiner but there's always a first time for everything Gold if GoodSmile can pull it off with Moderoid like I'm sure these guys can & if it won't I hope it can do over the top poses at the very least (I kinda want a modern Diecast Dangaioh at this point) |

Unless I missed one, I think Gaiking is the closest thing to combiner they've ever done.
Dangaio has a similar somewhat simple combination, but still requires a good dose of anime magic to get the right proportions in both modes. (Nothing close to Getter Robo WTF level, but more than Gaiking.) Maybe Sentinel could pull it off. Halfeye's take didn't age well in that regards. I doubt King Arts will bother, but it would be nice if they did (successfully).

That's the thing about King Arts. If there is an existing sample (Moderoid Dangaioh), they can copy what works on it and make it better (if they wanted to). Their Danguard Ace is a very good example of that. Engineering and proportion is almost an exact copy of the SOC. But where SOC came short, they improved on it, make it bigger, add more details, gimmicks, strengthening the joints...etc. I hope this Dangaioh will be a combiner (with some parts swap). But I am still onboard if it is not. It has just been too long for a gokin release.
