Wow, this thing certainly popped out of nowhere on the radar! Thanks for the pics Neveart Just to add Just got mine today from Greattoys, roughly sold for $20 (please click to view larger images) -front -back -opened The box is made of shinny aluminum and even has a "lunchbox" type lock. Stands roughly under 7.5 inches and opens up to 10 inches in length. I have yet to see the Great Mazinger box though. Gold

got both the mazinger and the great mazinger metal box from Ptoys.. with a "BIG" discount... not much with a difference with the two metal box.. just the "embosed" lettering of "Mazinger in both box but the GX-01R had a "Z" on the other side and a "Mazinger Z" inside while the GX-02R had a "Great" and a "Great Mazinger" inside..
Thanks Pat.. till next time......

Just to add to what 45 Caliber already mentioned. The aluminum box is practically identical to the Mazinger box, only with different text stamped on. Thanks to Greattoys for the reservation. The finish on mine has a lot of "water mark" stains on the surfaces.. Bandai QC is really going downhill... sigh..oh well.. Gold

Great stuff, thanks to everyone for the pics. and the info..
I think I'll have to look out for those crystal bases and the tin boxes...they sure look fine.

I just received the last few of these I was looking for and I have found a slight problem:
The Getta Robo G complete set will not fit the three crystal bases for the team. Won't lay flat, won't stand up side by side along the back (behind robots). crap.

Guys, do you suggest to buy the getter G team individually or the box set? The box set comes with the crystal stand. But if you say that the crystal stand isnt nice, it's cheaper to buy it individually... What's your thoughts?

boxset doesn't come with a crystal stand but rather a acrylic box made of wood and acrylic glass... buying the getter individually can save you a few bucks.. but for me i'd go for the boxset.. you'll have the acrylic display box plus the outer getter robo box aside from each individual box... with an additional cash of course but not that big...

The problem is finding them since they're somewhat hard to get now(especially the crystal stand for the Getter Dragon) Gold
