I remember seeing some discussions like this too... I believe it was in toysdaily, if my memory serves me correctly.

OOOOOHHH! If this is confirmed, this got to be the best news! Fredeliza, can you confirm the names of Daimos' movelist from the SRW games (can't read kanji)? If there are any correlations with "lightning blow", then this may be definitive!! I remember this finishing move from SRW @3, if Daimos' blow kills the enemy, the blow will punch through the enemy's body, and the enemy explode. If the attack doesn't kill the enemy, the animation just shows the enemy being knocked away. But still, please treat this as rumor untill all the facts are verified. ** I apologize for hijacking the GX-39 Raideen thread topic. We should continue the discussion in the Daimos thread instead. Sorry, Mods. Hi, Sorry but I cant read kanji too. Please look at this video and it shows the lightning -looking punch

The blueprints look impressive so far, but I understand that Reideen will be somewhere along the same size as the Getter Dragon, right?

Hmmm I wonder if there will be a gold version? Cause unlike other re-colours a all gold Reideen makes sense AND is Anime correct.

Holy %$#@! Those blueprints rock! I have been waiting for this seemingly forever. I can't wait for the prototype shots. I haven't bought an SOC since Voltes V (my wallet thanks me). This is a definite pre-order item. I agree with the people who say that an SOC Danguard Ace would be cool too! I'd also still like to see a Jeeg. That would have a whole extra box for the accessories. I'm going to go back and drool some more now.

This is the first SOC treatment that I'm actually excited about (I know it's surprising, but true). Reideen is one of the few SOCs that has a lot of room for improvements beyond added articulation. I think because he's a transformer, and most SOCs have been either Gattai or static figures that could use the same basic design principles as their old school counterparts.
Little bit of trivia here.. Reideen is often seen by collectors as the first true transforming robot.
