Iron Gears is impressive ! And Reideen seem to be the classical one. Maybe these will be my first SOC's

Hellric,
If you want to join, I highly recommend you Ideon first.
My most beautiful SOC (and overall collection piece), he quickly overcame Grendizer and Voltes as my favourite despite the low charisma of the robot/character.
But, after seeing the PICS with Iron Gear being a head taller than Ideon, I cannot wait for him too!!!
Reideen will be sweet too! Hope Daltanius is next!!

Reideen was the second die cast chogohkin I got for Christmas and was my favorite robot as a kid, so he's a must for me. The Iron Gear looks great too!

raideen is a classic, but iron gear looks more appealing due to the complexity. anyone know about the size of raideen? i'm guessing its about the size of mazinger. i'd like to know more about iron gear. its a combining chogokin isn't it? ---------------------------------------------------------------- just did a google search. had no idea iron gear is from the xabungle series. also, its alot larger than ideon.

Yes, the Iron Gear appeared in XABUNGLE (1982-83). It first appears in the series in its titanic landship form, a rolling battle fortress. Eventually, they get the Iron Gear to transform into its Walker Machine mode. In its WM mode, Iron Gear stands 128.6 meters tall (approximately 422 feet), weights 49,800 metric tons (54,895 tons), and its engine operates at 231,900 horsepower. That's one fricken' big robot! Meanwhile, Ideon is only 105 meters (approx. 345 feet) tall.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the SOC RAIDEEN -- my all-time favorite non-Go Nagai super robot finally gets a balls out treatment in diecast!

Oh man... I have so much to catch up this year... Zanbot 3 reissue, Iron Gear, GFFMC Psyco Gundam, and now, Raideen. And once I get Iron Gear I know that I'll HAVE to get Xabungle and Walker Gallier too... Poor me
That Iron Gear update is awesome goldorak!!

This is revenge for not getting a Reideen-jumbo when I was little.. ;D I'm also predicting at least one Reideen repaint-Black or gold. Bandai hasn't done that in a while but I just have a crazy feeling... Iron Gear looks to be the same height as Ideon but WIIIDER!! Can't wait. Thanks for the pics!

Now if only we can get Dangard to complete the comic book trio!
I'd love to have the 3 near the same size (I DO have the 3 in ST...but SOC versions together would be soooooo much cooler!)

I can't wait to place the SOC Raideen on Pre-Order (maybe two of them). However, I will definitely pass on the Iron Gear - never liked it's design.
