ToysTV also has a video review. Very positive. The thing is actually heavy with decent amount of diecast. Was going to skip it since I have the Takara 1/18, but I may have to reconsider. It does look really nice, and so rare that we actually get a gokin Votoms these days. Threezero was pretty stingy on the backpack drop grenade though, only came with one...

Yup. Saw that. A bit skeptical what it can offer that previous toylines couldn't, especially when it is not gonna be painted all that much. Won't help if it is going to die off prematurely like the Dougram and L-Gaim line either. But curious about it nonetheless. |

That is a nice comparison. I still favor the Bandai 1/20 over the HG because of all the additional details and internal structure. Just the cockpit of the HG is sold separately is quite a turn-off, to be honest (that is a first for me in any Votoms figures I owned or came across LOL). But I do like some of the re-balancing on the overall proportions in the HG.
