Yeah, but its an exclusive. Don't know where to get that one. I know they are releasing the New Revoltech with a new drill pack www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=KAI10184&mode=retail&picture=aux1, so they will also release the new wing pack edition in the Revoltech line? Konami's version cost twice as much as the Revoltech. So I like to know why you like the Revoltech version more. More posable?

A picture is worth a thousand words... how about posting one comparison picture.

BBTS will not have the wonderfest version most likely. I already emailed them.

The revoltech sculpt seems so much more dynamic even in the same pose. I do prefer the Matte finish on the Konami figure though.

I wonder if they will dub the GL DS game in english.
EDIT: I saw some video on it on youtube. It does not look that fun.

I prefer the Konami scultpture. I am still waiting for the Konami toy. It has been on preorder at bbts forever.

I downloaded and played the DS game on my R4. Its horrible. It might enjoy it more if I could translate it. The graphics are pretty good, but the game play is sort of an action RPG. Its just missing too many elements to be a great game.

I know I already asked on the revoltech board, but since this is directly related to Gurren Lagann, Ifigured I might as well post here.
Anyone interested in the LE Metallic Gurren Lagann? After its August 3rd release, I'll start hunting everywhere for these babies. Even if it goes over a $100, I'm up.

I would like one, but there is no way in hell I am paying so much for one. I rather just buy a regular version and paint it myself!

It just started. So strange to hear it in english. I need to go watch the very first part of episode 1. They may have changed something in the story.
I prefer Kamina's Japanese voice actor. He has a much better enthusiasm. I normally like the english actors better.

While watching it they showed a commercial. You can buy this on itunes. Its a bit expensive though when you buy a season pass. I am going to hold out because I want it on DVD for the subtitled version.

I am going to hold out because I want it on DVD for the subtitled version. On a side note: Bandai Entertainment's sub-titled-only version of volume one came out a few weeks ago. Price is... well, average for an anime. But it comes with 9 episodes so that's pretty good. Personally I'm waiting for the dual-audio DVD. I may wind up watching it sub-titled anyway, but I like to think I'm getting more bang for the buck if I have the option available to me (I'm weird that way). ![::)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/rolleye.png)

Wow, $19.99 for 9 episodes of Gainax modern falgship title goodness is just "so that's pretty good"? Quite an understatement. ![:)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/smiley.png) Picked up the DVD today, but haven't watched it yet. But very excited about this release since I have been waiting for the DVDs for a good while. But does any of you know why Gurren Lagann DVDs got so cheap under Bandai Entertainment release? Bandai used to charge $30+ for 2 episodes, causing me to stay away from their releases for more than a year. Now with GL, which is such a high profile show, they are like throwing it out dirt cheap. Is Bandai Entertainment going down too?

I really want to buy the DVD after watching the 1st 2 episode on the Sci Fi channel last night. But I've already seen all of the episode in Japanese with the english subs. I'm waiting for a box set before I get it, you know they will release some kind of box set. It'll be cheaper and probable have a cool collectors box too.
And on another note, that Gurren Lagann DS games sucks. Spinning the gear with the stylus, and connecting the wires by dragging the stylus across the screen are just some of the dumb things you do in this game. And the countless repetition of the sound bites and attack sequence. It was really poorly made. It would have been much better if they had just stuck with some sort of 2D side scrolling game with some added gimmicks on the bottom screen.
