I finally found a 'goog at a Toys R Us. Yup. It was in the red packaging all right. Never found it a Target, and the local KMart went out of business. I have the SCM RX-78. What's on the Toybox DX front page is not the SCM because it's too detailed. The detailing and coloration along with the bent antenna give it away as an AE RX-78. The city where I use to live had Kmart go out of business a long time ago, Pic'N'Save was next which "Big Lots!" took over and then Big Lots! is now out of business there as well, Zep, you wouldn't happen to live in the "V" would you? If you do you would know what I mean if you don't... ;D

No Pic N Save and no Big Lots though I hear a Big Lots store is opening around here. Target has pretty much taken over around here with 3 all within 1-10 miles of each other. No Wal mart either. Wonder what the prices for Gundam figures are like there.

Took the Gelgoog AE out of the box finally. Those darn twist ties are a pain! How I miss those nice (but not environmentally friendly) old boxes with the foam trays. At least SOC uses the old-fashioned packaging. Anyway, the Gelgoog is pretty solidly built -- as in it can take quite a beating and not fall apart. However, it has a bit too much PVC content for my tastes. The whole head, the shoulder armor, skirt, rocket thrusters, and lower legs are all soft PVC. The gun is also PVC.

Which part of the country did you spot these? I haven't seen them in the Bay Area yet. FYI, I got both of the new Arch Enemy models at Toys-R-Us in Redwood City if you haven't found them yet. Bill

Yeah, I found them earlier at Target and Toys R Us south of SF. Target definitely has the better deal ($19.99 instead of $24.99). It seems that the Gelgoog either gets snapped up faster or there are fewer of these in the cases compared to the RX-78's. I usually see plenty of the RX-78's available but few if any of the Gelgoog's on the store shelves.

Supposedly no differences.

My local TARGET in MA, USA is having clearance on these bad boys. I found one RX-78 and one WING ZERO for less than $14 ea. They still have about 4 left. Pretty good deal!!

Supposedly Target is going to stop selling Gundam products and is clearing out stock. Or that was a rumor I heard...Hopefully it is wrong. Bill

I have noticed that a lot of the Gundam items at the local Targets in the Bay Area are on sale with red tags on them. Hmm. I hope that Target hasn't decided to stop carrying Gundam stuff.

Anyone know what is to be released on the next ARCH line? This line is too good not to be continued!!

Yeah, the Targets here have finally marked the 14 pegs worth of Mandoor gundams down to 3 bucks. I think they're just trying to clear the stuff out before they put the new stuff up. We still haven't seen the Full Armor wave here yet, and we tend to get things fairly quickly.
As far as new AE Gundams go, no news so far...though I believe that SEED has been rumored to be next.

I seen most people picking up the RX-78 and not much love for the Gelgoog. I think the color is keeping people off.

I almost got these at Target the other night while I was in Baltimore, but I passed it up. I'll try Target here tomorrow and see if they have any RX-78's left.

I got a rx and gelgoog in the red boxes about a month or two ago at the TRU by me here in MD.I'm not normally a Gundam toy person but I needed an inexpensive robot fix and they did the trick. Now the JM gundam that's what I want, heck I may even pick up the jumbo grades.

Got the New Arch Enemy Aile Strike. Not sure if there'll be a counterpart. Here is a review and pix from my website: rixrobots.com/GundamAile.htm
