Updated pictures of the new GFF Metal Composite Psycho Gundam, originally posted by pirkaf@plusnetwork.it: Looks like it will transform! I'm definitely getting this one! Hopefully it will not be as flimsy as the DX MSIA counterpart.

Wow. It is huge. Can't wait to see what other gimmicks (like opening hatches) this version features besides the transformation. Wonder what will follow in the GFF Metal Composite line. I'm hoping for more U.C. timeline Gundams.

If Bandai was planning on including 1/144 scale toys in this line from the start, then I wish they had just released the entire complete Dendrobium Orchis as part of the GFF Metal Composite line and and the Stamen as part of the regular GFF line.

Sweeet!! First time I ever seen Psyco with all the markings. Hopefully, Bandai gets the transformation right this time, nad use non smudgable paint.

Looks great with all of the markings, but will it be all that much better than the MSiA that I already have? In the pix, it looks a bit pale. I wonder if it's the lighting.

I liked the MSiA alright enough, but mine always just felt so wobbly, plasticky and cheap. I actually never got that into it and was always on the verge of selling it. So when the first proto pics of the Metal Composite came out, with the beefier sculpt, details and solid-looking stance, I got rid of the MSiA. Don't think I'll be disappointed...
You're right though, it does look a tad light in the promo photo up top. Hoping it's either the lighting, the quality of the scan, or both.

Were you able to fetch a good price when you sold your MSiA Psyco Gundam? I wonder if the Metal Composite version will have any better play value than the MSiA. I was a bit disappointed with my RX-78-2 Ver. Ka Metal Composite GFF because I thought it wasn't all that great in terms of playability. Absolutely wonderful in terms of display value though.

Well, I actually never play with my toys, so display value is the most important thing for me. As for the MSiA Psyco, I sold it mint, used but never played with, for $41 on eBay.

You can try BBTS but you might be waiting for a while. Also Twin Moons might still be taking preorders. Speaking of which, here is a pretty extensive pictorial of of this Metal Composite and a review in japanese: cms.or.tp/~gamu/gangu/gff/psy/psy.html

So how much of it is metal? It's my next purchase, it looks fan-tas-tic.
