What would be totally awesome is if yamato released a GBP armor matching the Stealth Valk's color scheme or even the low-vis [gray not camo]

What would be totally awesome is if yamato released a GBP armor matching the Stealth Valk's color scheme or even the low-vis [gray not camo] My thoughts exactly! Based on the images I posted, Yamato's likely to release two versions of the Stealth. One with the FAST Pack set, and the valkyrie only. I'll be getting the giftset.

Browsing this thread got me thinking - how about GBP-1S in a dark flat gray-green like the generic Strike Set? Sounds ridiculous but think about it: many people scoffed at putting the set on the original Low-Viz and yet it later turned out to look pretty damn good together. I'm thinking a generic green sumo-set would look just as good on the new Stealth or the old Low-Viz... Hmmm...

actually those two final product pics [imo] looks better "naked' the only time I'd consider clothing one of them is if the Stealth had a GBP in matching color I'm thinking light grey and black or maybe blue color combo with maybe yellow chest missles kind of like a custom pic I saw somwhere can't remember where now.
I think I have enough of the strike and super armor as 6 out of my 9 1/48 valk already have this type armor set.
Besides I kind of think of these variation Valk as rather atmospherical valk as oppose to space type

I'm hoping for more different designs rather than re-colors. I understand the cost-effectiveness to the manufacturers of re-colors as they don't require new and expensive molds. If the re-colors cost signficantly LESS to the buyers, then it'd be nice. On the other hand, having choices isn't a totally bad thing--like multiple choices of color for a car. However, I think in the world of toys it can get a bit old--like the multiple re-colors of Gundams that Bandai does.

I agree, I can understand in the begining that these would cost alot too offset the cost of the molds and design. But there has been how many re-colour (there all the same except for head design) and re-releases that these things should be alot cheaper now, maybe a $100.00.

The Low-Vis Camo, and the Stealth Valk (single) still basically fall under the same price range.
The only 1/48 that's got a higher price range is the Stealth that comes packaged with the Stealth FP Set.

Dunno, but according to Otaru Ikari, the VF-0S will be out in Japan this April 23.
It should be here in the PI by the 28th. Ugh!

Looks like the Super/Strike Stealth VF-1J is out!!! **Pics by: DyNo of MW www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18838**Edit In: The toy picture above is the one that's packaged with the Strike/Super Armor. There's also reportedly a "single" toy without the Armor.

Toy-Wave has them now - both with and without the armour... already listed as "low stock." Y'know, I didn't realize until now that LV2 was actually a VF-1J... had I known I would've held out for one (but as it stands, I already have a VF-1J in Hikaru colours so... meh.)

If you have control for buying stuff, then you're going to be okay Rex. BUt if you don't, once you've had your 1/48, it's all down hill from there.
