Yamato VF-1 1/48 Low Vis

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the strike/speed packs interchangable with all the 1/48's? That could be a big money saver.

Yes, but that's like saying all VF-1J are interchangeable with each other. The only place to get the stealth-coloured Strike FAST pack is in the stealth set with the stealth-coloured VF-1J. The regular add-on set of FAST armour for the Strike Valkyrie only comes in the generic blue-green colour meant to match up with the regular white VF-1 colour scheme. So it seems Yamato expects us to pay more for an exclusive...

Can you just imagine how HUGE the box of the low Vis ver. 2 w/ GBP armor is going to be?

wish yamato would put the armor on the Valk and package it that way to save on some packing inches but I'm almost certain they won't and shipping will again be a major pain in the wallet

I got mine without the fast pack from a certain eBayer that didn't have what I originally wanted in stock, so he ate the shipping and sent me this instead, it looks cool, albeit I haven't opened it, yet.

So today i just got my Low Vis. Ver. 2 its by far the most expensive naked VF-1 1/48 I've bought clocking @ $250CDN [the rest of my Valk s were @ the 190-200CDN range] mind you $30 bucks of that is stupid CDN Gov't taxes

Its beautiful just like the rest of them but it didn't come with the TV hands Which kind of sucks since yamato raised their price and my stealth Valk came with the TV hands.

Anyway, enough ranting I LIKE it
