Since DX is going in the same order as GX (1 Maz 2 Great Maz 3 Combattler) GX 4 will be Grendizer and GX 5 will be the Daiku Maryu.
A DX Daiku Maryu must be huge.

I would keep the DX Mazinger, the Leopardan, Yamato Danguard, and CMS Gakeen. I think these will continue to go up in value. It's just too hard and too expensive to make these again.
The things you want to sell are the figures you feel are at peak value right now.

I was trying to think of something but I can't. I guess it's more a factor of knowing the people you plan to sell to. Last trip I made, I ended up buying watches.

FB is nice for seeing pictures of upcoming releases, but other than that it doesn't feel like there is any kind of real conversations or learning going on there.

Hello RJers, I'm putting some various robot stuff up for sale here. I live in Anaheim, California and would prefer someone that is also in the LA area before trying to stick stuff in the mail (mail prices are so high these days). Here is what I have for sale:
1) SOC 34R Gunbuster Reissue $215. Completely new in sealed box, unopened. This is a duplicate I bought from Nipponyasan.
2) Some Micromen reissues. Biomachine 1-4. Biomachine 02-MachineStinger + Godoh has a broken foot. $10 each, $5 for the one with the broken foot.
3) A Hello Kitty in a Kimono Doll. Special issue from Japan McDonalds in 2000. $15
4) 3 Lego Hero Factory models in sealed packages. Bruizer, Scarox and Nex. All from 3 years ago. $10 each.
5) Transformers Autobot Springer. Opened box, complete with all accessories. $15
6) Taiwanese Lionbot. Complete with all parts but box is beat-up. Hole in the bottom of the foam and top cover coming apart. Robots are in decent shape. $60
7) Two Imai Valkyrie model kits. One of Max (Blue) and one of Miriya (Red). Complete and unassembled, 1/72 scale. $35 for the pair.
8) I've got some of the Marvel GI Joe comics from the 80s as well. Issues 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and then 17-63. All of them are bagged and in good shape. $50 for all of them.
Can anyone rec a good site to post images on?

Thanks for the link. Kunio Okawara has done so many classic mecha designs, but I think that Dougram one is my favorite.

That is crazy! I love it, but not sure if I would buy it. I'm not a huge Disney collector.

Sigh... ... it's a bit far to SDCC for me... ... I have never been there before! And I wish I have a chance to see this Voltron!!!!! If you don't have SDCC tickets already you won't be seeing this. They sold out way back in January or something. SDCC isn't a last minute decision. You have to plan ahead by 8 months of so! I'm pretty sure this will be sold at the show. Look at the wording. "The wait is over" if this were just a pre order then the wait ISN'T over is it. It actually just begun. So my guess is in the past year and a half since the last SOC they have not only designed this but actually made it too! I bet all of us SDCC people would know each other if we ran into each other. SDCC was a good source for buying robot toys in the 90s. Remember when the owner of this site used to come along and pick all the stores clean by Thursday afternoon?

I think at this point Daimos is the most requested re-issue by a wide margin. I can't see Bandai avoiding him for too long, unless they are redoing tooling. This means we are getting a Daimos-colored Mazinger.

It's an interesting idea and I like how the singles of the five figures look. However, the combined robot is much too busy looking with holes and empty spaces everywhere. I think it's ugly to look at. The other robot coming 7/21 looks like it is a Buzz Lightyear silhouette.

I'm still not quite sure where the best place to put this is (beyond a deep yearning for a new diecast Voltron). Here's the latest trailer of the new show The episodes will be out on June 10-that is really soon.

The yen is going up in value so the next SOC is going to be really expensive.

I paid $450 for GX-50 and Nanbara connection base (both used and in good shape) a little over 2 years ago. I'm not sure why the price rose so quickly.
