Judging from the photos, he doesn't appear to have owned anything too uncommon. They're valuable, but not insanely valuable like Bullmark Daiapolon or something. The Scopedogs look like they might be from a relatively recent linme, but the Orguss and Dunbine toys might fetch a couple of hundred dollars. I remember reading that he really wanted to be in the Evangelion live-action movie; the one that, obviously, never got made. We saw the MG Char's Zaku kit and one of the old Kaiyodo Evangelion toys in One Hour Photo, too. Those are just couple photos out of thousands of figures and models. Zelda just didn’t know the names of some of them. Zelda posted Vintage Nomura Japan Piston Action Robot so I’m pretty sure his taste in Japanese vintage goes way back along with that Takara Giant Gorg. I’m sure if he wanted to and it was available to him he could buy every jumbo machinder, vintage Chogokin and tin toy robot and wouldn’t even blink. His 87 bikes alone were valued at $200,000. Ended up selling total of $600,000. He had single bike worth $40,000. |

I saw that he actually posted in anime forums or Reddit using his real name.
Just imagine what kind of grails are there hiding. Mint new old stock and money not a problem with deep pockets or space not an issue.
It’s cool that big actor like him collect nerdy stuff and not huge car collections like other Hollywood actors and entertainers such as Jay Leno car collection.
His daughter said he wants his stuff to go to all the nerds. It serves no purpose hiding in bins. I’m gonna keep an eye out for that auction. Said auction profits will go to charities too. Be nice to have one piece from his collection.

I knew Robin Williams was bike collector and video game enthusiast but I didn't know he collected anime mecha models and figures. His daughter posted some photos on twitter of Orguss, Votom and Giant Gorg. I can only imagine what kind of collection he had. She said there are thousands of figures. Unfortunately they are mostly boxed up. I be interested in what he had and curious whenever it goes to auction similar to his bike collection on what he had. I've been thinking past few days. We spending around $300-500 a month on some of these items. Fact some of these items have QC issues makes me think That's like car payment on a car I don't really need but least others can enjoy it.
I guess that’s advantage buying from bbts or amazon. You can return the item for refund.

If i was Sentinel and Bandai, id commision Ninja to do all my "updates" Man, this is why i wait on reviews now. I just cant afford a $300 to $400 spend on a figure with a possible "issues.".....not anymore. Yeah what really sucks too you spend that much and you can’t resale it what you pay for. So you get double hit. |

Man that’s bad I mean if it’s accessories that fall off easily but major joint separating that’s occurring with others is a damn shame. Contemplated getting this one too. So this one, mospeada and Baikanfu has issues. Makes me wonder what Gravion will be considering it’s a combiner.

Yeah I went all in last year and Iocidm is getting it too. I’ve learn not to let feedback,opinions or comments deter my decisions in life since what high school. 😂 I remember getting so much heat from my Pinoy friends having Laos girlfriend. Haha. Always went against the grain.
I’ve bought items some of them expensive with known issues and I glad I got them. In the end if you want it you will get it. it’s because it reminds of us the Popy version.
Only thing I remember from my sociology class was theory of group think. 😀 my coworkers probably hate me because I don’t follow them.

you don’t need to be risk taker buying this for sure. For me I don’t have any ET toys and read about nothing but bad stuff on ET.
I went ahead anyways to get this. Like you said it what this character means to you more than anything that motivates you to purchase.

Yeah I don’t mind taking a risk buying it. It’s not like a house. If I let my passive wife dictate my actions I would have never bought this house. Lol. Now houses are over million where I’m at. 😂 so I save a good few hundred thousand. Now my friends are priced out. When I use to mountain bike a lot I use take jumps not even scouting it first what’s on the other end. Haha so I’m risk taker.
But anyways I’ll definitely provide feedback as you all do when I get it.

Preorders opened up again at Amiami. Strange that my waiting list notification did not even notify me. But either way, I am overjoyed I get to preorder this. I really hope this makes an end of May release!! Cool! But what does it mean by tentative pre-order? |
