Yeah the other brands besides Bandai have very long prototype to production and ship final product date like this Daikengo. It kept getting pushed back every month. New Pose+ release seem like once a year now.
Personally my want list is very small now and my display capacity is at its peak. Pose+ is definitely fulfilling my want list. With this pandemic going still with previous work lockdowns and shortages of everything it doesn’t help either.
So yeah I preordered my copy last year even though paint finish isn’t that great. It could be years before another company makes Daikengo. I mean we see very little Mechander Robo.I just get it in case instead of paying some high mark up later. I have vintage copy so I want modern version of Daikengo.

Ahhhh it’s around height of SOC. I thought it was going to be like Blitzway scale. Ehhhh I’m not that really excited at all then. Too many Voltrons in my collection. Just received my little T28. I try not to buy small scale robots but This is T28 one of my favorites.
The diecast in torso and lower leg/feet. One leg did come off but easily pops back in ball socket joint. Feet pop out and can pivot swivel.
The only fault for this piece for me is that head does not rotate into the fully flight mode! I’m kind of surprised that it doesn’t.
Otherwise cool little robot to have.

Ewwww no bueno…I’m waiting for another company to make classic lines Reideen hoping Pose+ does one. SoC DX is nice and I have that one but too small for my collection scale.

Nice to see photos. Too bad there’s not rent a chogokin service. Just enjoy the chogokin for week or two and give it back. This piece will Be like furniture that’s always in the way for me. I have to move it constantly around to get to some other pieces in my collection. 😛

chogo... I have the regular SOCs from GX-01 to GX-100 (okay, the latter ones have not all arrived yet). I want to stop at 100 because I don't have room. I also have a lot of the variants and most of the SPEC line releases (the line started as Soul of Chogokin). I'm debating whether to continue collecting or not. I want some kind of closure  Haha I keep on saying I’m going to retire from collecting chogokin too. I ran out of room also. Remember closure for one hobby opens the door to another collection. Never stops 😂 |

Yep a DX should be showing up at end of this year.

Any hope they will reissue for 2022 50th Anniversary of Mazinger Z? GX-70 have its 50th anniversary version. Hey my old thread 😂You know I pulled trigger on one for $500ish luckily it was local eBay seller transaction up in OC SoCal. Didn’t have to pay shipping or tax. The box is like end table stand. I was driving home like did I really spend $500 on this! 😂 Reissue… I don’t know regardless it’s going to be expensive. I remember when I was hunting for my copy DX Mazinger Z it would pop in eBay for like $500-600 after I bought mine. But few years later it seems $1000 is norm or acceptable price. I remember paying $350 for DX great mazinger. Wheeeew glad I bought even though I didn’t want it at the time. |

Yeah it’s not sold by Amazon JP. Shipping kind puts back back to normal price. I wouldn’t buy this unless its half the price don’t have space for it since it will be sitting on the rug next to Titanus.

Personally If I want certain mecha in my collection I buy it regardless of the cost and or diecast content externally or if it’s hidden internally. I usually don’t even watch or wait for reviews either anymore. Sometimes reviews are subjective to the buyer.
If I want it then then I buy it.
Though I’m different collector then most I collect modern, vintage and jumbos.
