Pretty solid design, could be good.
Snake-Eyes is looking pretty awesome though!

Very late to the thread... some observations: "Fowler" automatically conjures up the image of that recuuring bird character in Power Rangers SPD. Second, So what will we call the Optimus Prime character who will show up in the new series? Prime Prime? Also, all this talk of minicons reminds me that I seem to be missing one from my Star Saber set... which sucks. I mean seriously... how could it be missing? I don't ever remove my toy collection from my house...
So yeah, my 2 cents: I think the reason many of us have such devotion to the G1 series is how well each character was defined. We may hate the human characters, but they served to illustrate each Autobots' personalities (Bumblebee's loyalty for instance - contrast with movie Bumblebee's dialog reduced to "I wish to stay with the boy.) Lame. We learned to love and hate the Transformers and I don't really get that feeling with the new stuff. Yes, they do "epic action" very well, but they always seem to be missing something along the way.

I'm pretty sure the story is the search for the Transformers who would become Optimus Prime. I think in War for Cybertron he's simply called "Optimus", in G1 he was Orion Pax, who knows what this toon will call him since it seems to be movie based.

First look at Prime. tformers.com/article.php?sid=13969I imagine we will get a taste from comic con too. Considering how much time its taken to get this show released I think its a shame they decided to cut Animated so short. They already had another season pretty much done, they could have given them that last season to wrap it up better.

Official word on continuity from the TF:Prime panel at SDCC is that this is the sequel to the WfC game showing the events from after they've arived on Earth. They spilled the beans during the Q&A portion of the panel. Doesn't explain why BB looks more like his movie version than the closer to G1 game version...

At Botcon they said they weren't doing toys, just the show. If that's true it's a real shocker, but we're only a few months away, seems like we'd have seen some leaked prototypes or some pictures at SDCC by now if they had something in the works.

I wonder if it'll be a line or if it'll be like how War for Cybertron was inserted into Generations. There's been no public announcement, no moc-ups, no factory leaks, and the show starts in about a month. At this rate the first season will be over before figures get out just like with Transformers Animated. Problem is TFA had only Classics 2.0 to compete against until the movie figures came out (and Classics finished), while we've already seen plans for Generations, Power Core Combiners, and Hunt for the Decepticons through early next year until the Movie 3 stuff starts up, doesn't leave a lot of room for TFP on the shelves. Some people are predicting figures wont come around until fall '11.

if they can keep that smooth, slick, roundness to the bodies, THEN i might go for this line. I just didn't like how anorexic and boney the Movie line looks. It was borderlining on Zombies...sigh, this is after seeing that horrible new Voltron movie concept art.

I just noticed that Gina Torres is listed in the cast link the Coldiron posted last month. Cool. Between that and Alan Tudyk being in TF3, we're getting quite a bit of Firefly/Serenity in our Transformers.
