About that white sticker issue: does anybody have a GX-45C that they didn't buy from Toy-wave and that has the sticker? Honestly, if TW themselves say it's just a matter of their supplier putting it on, then why should it fetch a higher price? Btw, I have a GX-45 I just put a red sticker on. Anybody interested in buying it for $1000?

LOL, I wonder if anyone in Japan already tried forging the signature on a regular 45C and passing it off as legit? He'd make a fortune online. Gold I offered my forging services previously, but nobody took me seriously. See, I could've increased the value of your 45C by a tenfold! ;D However, now it will cost you... ;D }D

Italian SOCs got their own stickers... so it makes them unique... GX-53 doesn't. And that's good since the Italian sticker on GX-45, 57 and 49 were terrible ones.

I think its this. the bottom line is that initially thought as 100 pcs then 600 units, this Bandai release is really confusing to not only collectors but the vendors as well... Normally i dont think about japan or hk or whatever version... but in this case, just wanted to know what the final deal is , hence the question on the sticker...

Hey guys just thought i'd add my GX-45C that came in today courtesy of Anime-Export. The site had two listings for the 45C; one without the signature and one with. I opted for the listing without the autograph. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with the brown box as well as the museum bag and brochure/map of the museum as the listing did not specify if these items were to be included. They did a good job packing the items. For those curious about the numbered sticker on the brown outer box mine did not come with one. Needless to say... I couldn't care less Here are the pics. Oh and I got the GX-49G as well, which came with brown outer box also. Now I know it's 'just' a plastic bag and a brochure but the little kid/collector/completist in me couldn't help but get giddy when i saw them included with the purchase : ;D I'm SO tempted to get another one just to keep lol. But the adult/practical/and responsible collector in me is trying to keep the little kid in me in check lol. Anyways, best of luck to all those seeking to get this one. Erik

Kinda off track: with the S.D. Comic-Con <2 months away, I wonder what the Bandai booth will have this year? Last year was the Naked Tetsujin 28 SOC figure. I hope they find it in their hearts to offer the GX-45C. (Wishful thinking, I know.)

Wow, cool! Ya got the museum brochure, and what looks like a poster too. The packaging's awesome- your gear arrived in pristine safe condition. Congrats, bro! LOL! Spare the wallet, but Do spoil the child! ;D zozo-Magengar

update. Just got the replacement . This time everything was great. Toy wave went above and beyond on the packing. 4 layers of bubble wrap, with a box outside and this even included the brochure, and go nagai bag. TW still has me for a customer

I love the subtle touch that the gold trim adds to the figure. It's a pity it's so exclusive - if it were a retail release I'd totally pick this guy up, despite passing on all the previous mazingers. I'll have to comfort myself with the SRC version when it comes out

You know, the GX-45C looks cool and all but I feel something is just not quite right for what it means. I think that for such a once in a lifetime special event, Bandai should've come up with a Manga Style Mazinger head - like the GX-07, and curved chest plates like Energer's for the figure. IMHO, just repainting a GX-45 takes away so much from it that is borderline insulting. Making those modifications for such a limited figure wouldn't cost too much either. They did it with the GX-01R+ and still sold it for about 8,000¥. I don't know, it just doesn't sit well with me...
Again, it is still a great figure, but with a little bit more effort it could've been a really special figure.

I like it. The color scheme pops out well. damn, the 3 robos are really a sight for sore eyes, and have to admit, the mazingers really looked awesome with the mechnical chain base as backdrop still considering whether to buy the gx-45c now that prices have dropped a little since the lucky draw.
