What do you guys do with your SOC boxes? I keep all of mine, but not in the best condition. My boxes used to be stored in a closet. I recently took them out and stacked them to the ceiling here in my home studio. I have over 90 of them. The 4 SOC books/magazines are to the right of my box stack.

The VIP's get bubble wrapped or with celophane and stored on top of my computer desk. This is an old pic. I have more stuff up there now. The rest goes in the closet. Its now 50% clothes and 50% boxes lol

All of my stuff is wrapped in plastic, boxed, with lots of silica packets in the boxes. Currently on Box #101 (apart from SOCs I collect TFs, GiJoes and super hero figures). Half of it is stored in a storage room in at the office. Gold

I stored mine in the finished basement closet solely made just for them.

I hate the boxes taking up valuable real estate in my house....but I can't seem to toss them out. It's really silly.
I know why I keep them but I'm THIS close to just tossing them out.

Dang... You guys take care of your boxes! Now I know why some of you get mad when your SOC boxes don't arrive in pristine condition. All I care about is the content. Okay, I do like seeing my boxes juxtaposed next to my SOC collection--they are so colorful I wonder if any of you guys throw away your boxes....

Yes, the boxes are definitely a problem. I have them stored in three different rooms! I typically store the smaller ones in large plastic bins. In my display closet, I have several stacks of bins/boxes in the available space in front of the shelves such that I can't even see my collection without pulling them all out. Its such a hassle that I rarely venture into there, and I really lose the appreciation for even having a collection on display! Then in my other walk-in closet, they are piled up high on top of the hangar racks. Finally, there are a ton piled up in my son's room (see below). Its gotten to the point where my whole family is pissed at me. But I really have no choice. Everything in my garage gets moldy.

A lot of people buy empty boxes, so you can probably make some money on Ebay or selling them in forums. I like to keep mine in nice condition, for when I decide to sell off the stuff. }D

Gold... Inventive use of Balikbayan boxes I have to see your collection the next time I'm in the Philippines. And you are welcome to see my SOCs here in Boston. Why would people want to buy empty SOC boxes?

I don't see my SOC collection expanding. Just the two shelves and half a wall of boxes. I am happy with the amount of robots and boxes that I have.

if there is any good in the slowing SOC line, is the need for less space to store those darn empty boxes ;D
i am having storage problems like most of you guys and i am resorting to selling off some of my other collections like transformers to make space.
