Wow. It's finally happened. My wish for an SOC Tryder G-7 has come true. Looks like I'll be ordering this one. Just hope it's not over $200 USD though I'm afraid it might be.

Don't forget Dai Apolon. It also a combiner that deserves a modern toy. Yes, love to see some Dai Apolon toys... I wonder who own the Dai Apolon license. Why no toys being made for decades.

I don't mean to go off-topic, but... Does anyone know what are these robot bay display stands? Manufacturer? I wanna research them. Thanks in advance. zozo-mag From the Tamashi: It's a repurposed/retooled DX Mazinger hangar. The base is definitely from the DX Maz, but the background "towers" are new. No idea if Bandai is actually going to release the stands for sale or it's just something they made for displays at the event. Gold

I find it interesting and worthy of noting that those stands ARE carrying the labels of the robots posed on them.

Yes, I am thinking that if they don't include them with new SOC released, they will sell them separately with name plaques. They spent the money to develop that hangar for maz, it makes sense that they would retool it for the other bots. It displays well and they make money back.

They wouldn't have to include a whole bag of labels either since most SoCs already come with stands of their own and these could only come with tags for ones that were too big and only came with stands for the accessories.

If anyone does Diapolon it will be CMs,I asked HLPro to do it through Tom,they said its a good idea..Diapolon isnt a SOC type robot, more CMs style

The launch base... under a Playground... head halfway stickin out above ground... ...kids playin... the robot getting ready to launch... I busted my ribs laughing as I watched the kids at the playground scatter in every direction for safety, as the robot starts to launch...... ("Oh sh*t, RUN!!!" ...SWISH!) Yeah, that would be cool if Bandai would include the playground with this SOC... and ya Gotta include a miniature set of the kids running, too! lmao zozo-mag

I would much prefer Bandai to do Dai Apolon, their design, engineering experience and qc are still much better than CM's. And CM's can get very aggressive with their pricing sometime.

Im just saying since Daikengo is a complicated combiner SOC is more likely,Daiapolon is more obscure and witha big European fabase so CMs is more likely to do it.

From what I hear CM is in big trouble. Grendizer is/was suppose to be their masterpiece Gokin but could end up their swan song.

Actually, Dai Apolon is more popular in the Western World than Daikengo. Apart from Europe, it is quite popular in Latin America. Heck, Dai Apolon is even known in the US from the movie "Shadow World." This movie consisted of 5 episodes taken from the original 47 condensed into a 2-hour movie, where Japan is California. Go figure. Daikengo on the other hand is still obscure to any European country outside of Italy.
