On the other hand- I, too am very glad that I didn't go nuts and spend $400+ for the 04S. And I must confess, I'll engage in more than a little schadenfreude at seeing some of these scalpers eat it. JWM

I can't count all the times I was about to drop the bones for GX-04S...thank GOD I didn't! It will be nice to have ole Grendy stand next to the Mazinger Bros.
I wonder how many more SOC's Bandai is going to release this year?

Well that is certainly great news for the people who missed out on the first grendizer, it would be nice if they reissue the gx-04s. I for one am glad i only paid 190 for my gx-04s. My best bud here in Virginia will pee in his pants when i tell him that there will be a grendy reissue. ;D

thank god... been waiting for Grendizer reissue for ages!!!! at the time.. I really didn't know about the SOC line and I had just finished college. No cash... but I saw it one day in chinatown on display.... and I must have left a clean spot on the window from all that drool!!! Walked away broken hearted at the time.. the price was out of my range (even though it was something like $120 or something.. but no money no job, and debts to pay). But FINALLY after years of waiting! Still waiting for that day when I can have Gettarobo G (starvengers), Gaiking + Daikaramu, Danguard Ace, and Grendizer all on one shelf!

This time buy it quick, from some reputed online store if possible, for Grendizer, im really not sure when they all gonna wiped out again.
This is the most sought after SOC world wide, i dont even think the re-issue will last more than 3 monthes before they all sold-out again.

I'll be happy if it lasts one month. I just hope I'll be able to find one when I'm combing the net on the release date!

I'm reserving a lot of money till grendizer comes out... I think this year will be the biggest punch in the wallet ever for me.

Kid, every year is always a punch when you are dealing with a declining Dollar to the Yen/Euro... ;D I remember 20 years ago, as a Jr HS student, I had a similar conversation with a retailer because I was trying to figure out why Godaikins cost so much...$30 each. ;D

Good God, things keep getting better and better. First, the announcement of Voltes, and now THIS! Time to start searching for a second (and maybe third) job.
I too feel bad for the Grendy fans who paid $400+ for the set. On the other hand, they should have never caved to the extremist sellers' demands. Oh well. As they say, good things come to those who wait. ;D

Great!
I already have a GX-04, but don't have the Marine Spazer and Drill Spazer. The two items were really expensive. Now I can buy them and have an extra Grendizer with the GX-04 reissue.

Preorders available at Toy-wave. I'd rather see you guys get GX-04Ses than people I don't know, so be quick if you want it!

I sent an e-mail to Joel at BBTS asking if and when they'd be taking pre-orders. JWM

Yes, a pre-order from BBTS would be nice.

I sent Joel a mail too, but I went ahead and jumped on the toy-wave preorders. I'm too worried about availability, and lately BBTS seems to be considering the general market value too, not just the base price. I saw them selling some pretty expensive Dragons and Poseidons before they sold out.

Does Toy-wave charge your card when you place the order, or when the item is going to ship?

When you place the order. I've heard that the owner is very trustworthy though.

When you place the order. I've heard that the owner is very trustworthy though. Cool, thanks! I am not as concerned with trust as I am about having the $200.00 in the bank initially. I just hope I can get the cash in time for the preorder.

I read about that problem at a Japanese forum when the reissue was first announced. Some guy was saying that if you want the reissue, you'd better order it online, since the stores only get 2 grendizers for each load of other stuff that they have to buy at the same time, and those would likely sell out very quickly, especially if you're in the city. You've already got a grendizer though, don't you JWM?

Ataru: I have the old Popy issue, but not the GX. Well, this 'bundling' business would seem to confirm that Bandai really does keep a finger on the pulse of the toy collecting market. Somehow, it sounds a lot like arm-twisting to me. JWM
