Well, the first date I heard was June, but that last HLJ preorder was for august, so either it got pushed back to August or they'll send out the reissues in 2 waves, I guess. From what I've heard this will be a very limited reissue, so I was on the lookout for preorders from the moment I first heard of it. I'd recommend you guys jump on any preorders you can find where the price is $220-240 shipped.

There is no way I'm going to pass this one up. I'm waiting on Combattler. Gaiking is on pre-order from BBTS. As soon as Voltes is up for pre-order I'm going to snag one. And I'll snag a Grendaizer as soon as I can, too. But after that? Raideen? Daimos? They're going to run out out of 70's and 80's stuff to re-issue eventually.... Hey-what about the Bullmark line?Mechandar? the Diapolon trio? Or maybe I'll go back to buying food. My wife is a little tired of Kennel Ration and government cheese. JWM

I'd also like to see them do SOC versions of other Godaikins like Daltanius, Sun Vulcan, GodSigma, etc. Also, I'd really like to see Bandai make another T-28 SOC, but done in the SG-01 fashion.
Oh, and lastly, it would be REEEEEEALLY nice if there could be GoLion, Dairugger, and even Albegas SOCs. Unfortunately, I have my doubts that the MP Voltron will be up to par with the SOCs. Does anybody know if World Events has the sole rights to these, since they were remade into Voltron?

It would take Bandai quite a few years just to cover all of the 70's robots without even considering 80's stuff- I don't really think there's a chance the SOC line will last long enough to do it. *Maybe* long enough to get all the relatively major stuff.

Plus we don't have to get a now really expensive version of the original SOC Grendizer.BANDAI will usually do re-issues just like they did with the others, sometimes fixing problems, sometimes the same.

My only complaint about GX-04 would be that Bandai didn't give all of Grendizer's different punches. He had four distinct types of punching attacks.

What were the other types?

IIRC Grendizer's arm spikes could open up part way and do a "weed-wacker" rocket-punch. In French it was called "Helio-fulgur" but I don't know what original name was. Of course, he could rocket-punch without opening the spikes, and the usual opened-spikes. But I can't remember what the 4th would be, Chen.

The four Grendizer punches were:
1-Dizer Punch. Which was just a regular punch with no blades.
2-Screw Crusher Punch. The blades were pointed forward.
3-Screw Punch. Blades were in a fan shape.
4-Crusher Punch. Blades pointed forward and formed a cone/bullet shape like Liger's chain attack.

Cool, never knew about the screw punch and crusher punch. Thanks. I don't think he's ever had those in SRW either.
