Hey Ataru, can you please let me know how much that site is selling the Dancougar for? It says 25% off, but I can't read anything else. Thanks.

They were selling it for ‚P‚T‚T‚X‚R yen but they're out of stock and I don't think they ship out of japan anyway. I just posted the link to show that they're accepting preorders for the Grendizer reissue.

Think there will be any major difference?

I did a Google translate and was unable to conclude the differances, if any.
It will be nice to have a Grendizer ;D

Well crap. HLJ opened their preorders and hit order stop status before I even checked.

Argh! I have been waiting for this to go up on HLJ for months and I have checked every day more of less to see. I hope Bandai produces a decent amount of them this time so we all can have a shot at getting one.

Yes, reissue is confirmed.(From trustable japanese webside)
Dont worry, this time there'll be plenty of them making out, so the best thing we should do is waiting for its actual release date.
Just look at the story of GX-01R and GX-14, you folks should get my idea.

They are still really high on some auctions. Glad I waited. My wallet made me wait

I still don't get why people don't just shop around on eBay... It's not like a GX-04S comes up on eBay only one at a time.
I stumbled on a GX-04 with GX-04X (basically a GX-04S in two seperate boxes) and paid like $350USD for it... How they sky-rocket past $400 is beyond logic.
And don't get me started on those crazy European sellers who put their starting bids at like $500...
Sheesh. Hopefully this reissue knocks some sense into the collecting community.

Andrew, do you have any reason to think they'll be reissued in the same kind of quantities as the gx-14 and gx-01r? I heard something about this being sold in some terrible assortment where you buy 2 of these along with 3 of some other thing- I don't know how that applies to online sellers. The gx-04 and gx-04s were overpriced at retail and IIRC it took them a while to sell out, so even with all of the clamouring for them lately, Bandai might only do a limited reissue. Anyway, I really hope you're right, man.

Of course there are always going to be the evil retailer that will sell it beyond the msrp to us US collectors like they did the early batches of the reissue of GX-14 and GX-01R...They will try to get away with it for the first couple of weeks. Same for the PSP. I wouldn't be surprised if Voltes V will be the same song. With retailers trippling their net cost.

Whew, I'm glad it's just a straight re-issue and not an R version or I'd have to shell out money again to buy Grendizer again. The good news at least is that all the guys who don't have Grendizer yet will be able to buy him now and see just how great the figure is.

Come on Chen, wouldn't you *want* to shell out the money for a new, godly grendizer? ;D Heck, you could sell your current one on Ebay now and replace it with the better one, and make a little profit too.
I'm happy enough about the reissue, but I like Mazinger Z enough that I wouldn't mind if they made a gx-01rr. ; )

Ha ha, maybe if there weren't like fifteen new figures coming out this year that I want I might consider it. Anyway it means there's one more Grendizer out there for someone else to experience his "Godliness" ;D.

I don't know if this is good news or not. I will have to buy a GX04Sr if they make it. And I will have to have Voltes, which means I'll really really need a Combattler to go with it it all. And Gaiking (remember Gaiking?) is already on pre-order and darn I have to buy food too, or my wife will kill me.... When will it end? JWM

They might eventually do a Combattler renewal version, to bring it up to par with the Voltes. Combattler is much more popular than Voltes in Japan. They'll probably at least do another reissue.
