The final model will be chromed!!!!!!!!!! In sale late july You mean just the thighs, right? Or did Max Factory actually listen to the various e-mails people have sent them requesting either all-chrome or none at all? It doesn't matter to me either way, as I think the sculpt itself and the awesome display stand and accessories, both seemingly indicative of this highly promising line, more than warrant its purchase by me. For me, this is the definitive Mazinkaiser.

Doesn't look like it will launch its fists too.If it doesn't I'm fine with that.

I think it might have firing fists since the picture of the display stan shows extra biceps and forearms and the grey biceps looks like it has a little button on it.

It seems that MAX FACTORY is starting a trend with the die-cast content of their gokins, all plastic upper and lower arms!

Thanks for the info bizzio. The diecast composition seems pretty consistent with what their GGGG. I'll be happy as long as the overall piece has a nice overall heft, which I'm sure it'll have; I'm not expecting something as ridiculously heavy as the GGGG, however.

WOW. Thanks for the awesome, awesome pics bizzio. Forget about this just being the definitive Mazinkaiser; this is the most stunning toy I've ever seen. It has proportions I find much, much more appealing than Aoshima's offering. The wings are another stylistic preference, in which I prefer this design over the OVA version. Then there are the five - FIVE - awesome-looking swords. Finally, there's the awesome, awesome stand. I know it's a bit foolhardy to say this before the thing's even released, but I think Max Factory's really one-upped their fantastic GGGG. I can only hope this piece does as well it deserves to so the line can continue, preferably growing at a faster price than it is right now. October cannot come soon enough.
