Who knows, the did a SOC Reideen and then made the SRC version. Perhaps they will stick with it and do a SRC Dygenguar and Aussenseiter. At least this way, it would be more affordable and perhap have better articulation. If you aren't diehard, it is tough to put down close to 300$ for the SOC set. SRC @ 50$ each will definitely be welcom, heck I'll get a set if they do decide to do it. But looking at the list of SRC that are to be release, with the GaoGaiGar stuff, and the many others, I don't see them placing these two in the priority list if they decide to do it.

It's a great set and the box is huge! Some people complained that the figures themselves were small but I thought they were the right size with decent poseability, my problem is decideing which way to display them since they look good either way. Combined mode is definately a shelf hog though, easily over 1' tall depending on which sword you choose to use.

Got it! IT IS AWESOME!!! Definitely worth every cent I paid for it. I haven't transformed anything yet, because they look sooo cool together in their humanoid form - next to the SRC Alteisen of course...
This was money well spent. More than I can say for other SOCs that I will not mention...

Congrats, man! Love the pictures.
Mine stayed in "combined" mode since day one. BTW, this set belongs to the wife's top 5 favorite of my robot collection ;D

The SRC Alteisen is really nice and does fit in nicely with the SOC. There is lots of diecast and is pretty hefy for it's size. But you know what will happen if you do get Alteisen. You will most likely get the SRC Weisswitter, and the next thing you know, will end up with a full collection of SRWOG stuff.

i gotta watch this series as i love the mech designs in SRW.
I wonder if these are in scale with the SRCs though. From what I know (which is highly limited) Dygengaur and aussenseiter are bigger than most of the SRWs.......
I do hope they do more articulated SRCs of these but I would be a little upset that I paid (200 on sale at HLJ while back with free shipping lol) for the SOCs as I would prefer more dynamic and articulated figures at a cheaper price.. oh well, I am still happy I got them for now lol.

The SOCs are bigger, but not in scale, no. They'd have to be a looooot bigger to be in scale; unreasonably so, really. The DGGs are big, big robots - there's a pretty wide dispersal of sizes in the SRW:OG universe, but in general the "Super Robots" are usually around 2x bigger than the "Real Robots", if not more.

Yeah, I sure wish that they made the SOC version of Dygenguar a 12 to 15 inch figure, but then the big buster sword would need to be around 2 feet long. That would sure be great.

Yeah, that is one issue with the SRWOG mechas. They keep their scales very consistant in their animes. Sometimes I wish Super Robots had "real" scales too, but unfortunately they don't. Even in their own anime they grow and shrink like there's no tomorrow. I guess the QC regarding mecha proportions on screen was non-existant back in the day...
