Yeah, I sure wish that they made the SOC version of Dygenguar a 12 to 15 inch figure, but then the big buster sword would need to be around 2 feet long. That would sure be great. Well, it is not an SOC but... Kotobukiya 1/144 Dygenguar model box next to SOC GX-46 Dygenguar. ;D I've read this giant is approx 15 inches tall!!! }D

I wonder what ever happen to Vic01. He was one of the best modeller I've seen. Not only did he extended the thighs on the 1/144 scale Dygenguar, he also extended the giant sword. The figure was so big, he used one of those paper towel dispenser as a custom base. I also remembered that he added custom lights to various parts of the kit. But he never did show us the finished product.
Would have loved to own the 1/144 scale Dygenguar. I build a non scale version of it prior to getting the SOC, pretty much the same size. On some of the parts, my detailing was better. But the SOC is sturdier and much more durable, so both of my models went into a shoebox. I still have the non scale ikki tousen version of Dygenguar and Aussenseiter in P'Ferd mode from Koto, unbuilt. Got it at the wondercon convention over two years ago.

I was talking to him a while back. I had commissioned him to finish some kits for me but he had to back down in the end. He pretty much said he was giving up the hobby because he was too busy and had to take care of his children something along those lines. Not sure what really happend that he had to give up the hobby entirely....... a shame really saddens me when people have to give thier passions up especially if its due to financial reasons.
He was a great modler and did some great articulation mods to SRW kits.
I had the non scale kit too but sold it after I learned of the SOC. Honestly, if they make an SRC that is super articulated though ill get rid of mine for it

Always thought the Tobikage robots would look good next to this guy. They kinda have the same design style.

In case folks didn't follow the SRW OG Inspector series, they finally showed the DGG and Aussenseiter team attack in the last episode. Gold

That was an awesome series, but they rushed the ending. They waited until the last episode to unravel everything and ended up having to make the baddies very weak in order to have them defeated in the alloted 25 minute timeframe of the episode. I mean, they couldn't barely even scratch them during the prior episodes and then, they are just like cannon-fodder on the last one...!
Oh well, it still was a great show, much better that Mazinkaizer SKL!

I haven't watched the ending yet, but given the line-up of the good guys' side, its really hard for the baddies to stand a chance. But of course, having tougher baddies always make a better show.
