Like some other members have noted, they are slow to reply. But they will eventually reply. I think also, they're a bit faster replying when you've actually placed an order. I think questions about items not yet ordered sorta get shoved to the back burner so questions about shipping costs are probably not high priority and I wouldn't be surprised if they took a while to respond.

Is this a MF Mazinkaiser? It doesn't have the chrome legs... maybe the prototype?

I think the reissue is pretty much dead now, wonder what's up with Max factory? Perhaps you can try asking Hlj.com if they can get replacement parts for it? Gold Hmmm... good idea. I'll definitely try HLJ, but I'm honestly sorta pessimistic considering the MF Mazinkaiser is out of production now.

I've always wanted a MAX Factory Mazinkaiser and I've found two for sale recently but both have broken shoulder sword covers. Anyone else have this problem and is it something that can be fixed by taking it apart?
Also, any word on a re-release yet? Seems like it's been almost a year now from when they said it would be re-released and still nothing... I guess it's pretty much typical MAX Factory.

hey dude, where can we download all of them? www.tokyotosho.info/search.php?terms=mazinger&type=1I don't think there's a batch torrent yet since the series is still going so you'll have to download them all separately. Alternatively, you can get them from the XDCC bots at #Shinsen-Subs on IRC (Rizon).

Cool! Thanks for the info and the photos! So am I correct in thinking they sent me the wrong one? The description DOES say "chrome" in their listing... or did I misunderstand and order the wrong one? - J The picture on the Angolz listing is the "Plated Version" and the description does say "chrome" so I would say you got the wrong one. I don't think there's any chrome on the "Limited Metallic Version"...

I think the first GX-01 Mazinger Z's head was made of softer plastic than later releases. I don't know any other differences on later SOCs.

Are there any shops w/ a pre-order for GX-45A? I'm assuming this will have fewer accessories (maybe no Scrander) compared to the regular GX-45 like the GX-01R+?

You guessed right. That is RaiOh from the Dengeki Hobby Magazine SRW exclusive line. However, that one is not available...yet, if ever. Cause the toyline has been on hold for quite a while now (probably due to Revoltech's popularity being cheap and affordable, while Kotobukiya's plastic model kit is really catching up on SRW releases), with the supposingly RyuKuOh release delayed for about a year now, and still have not been announced the actual new release date. So when will the RaiOh come out is unknown. What is shown is the prototype/original sculpt of the figure that used to feature in the SRW segment in the Dengeki Hobby Magazine in an old issue. Thanks for the info mpchi. I asked a friend of mine to go check the Volks store in Akihabara and they actually have RaiOh, Vaisaga, and a couple others on display there. I asked him to see if they would sell them, but they wouldn't haha... those must be the prototypes.

Wow, that's a lot of Getters, even more than the Mazinkaisers! ;D Must have been a good amount of work to just to take them all out of their boxes and pose them all together. I wasn't really looking for Getter stuff so I wouldn't have found the original thread, but I'm glad you reposted because they're just cool pics. Thanks!

I love the GX-43, but I got the impression that Daimos isn't very popular in Japan. You can find one in Akihabara for as low as $60-$70... Couldn't believe it at first but there were several shops that had it for sale at similar prices. Sorta doubt Bandai will do a renewal version if sales haven't been that great. Just get it now.

I was able to get one off Yahoo! Japan Auctions for around $120 last December. After domestic shipping and proxy fees, and EMS shipping, it came out to be around $175. I would definitely give Yahoo! Japan Auctions a try and at least track a few auctions to see what they are going for so you'll have a better idea of how much you want to bid. Here's a link to some GL auctions on Yahoo! Japan Auctions: list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/2084239889-category-leaf.html?alocale=0jp&apg=1&s1=cbids&o1=d&mode=1There's at least 5 or listed, but looks like they're going for at least 14,000 yen.

thanks but how can i use yahoo japan with japanese lang.? unless you have a japanese bank account, you will most likely have to go through one of the many japanese proxies available. fees are usually anywhere from 10%-20% of the item price.
