So Josh just did a video review of this over at CollectionDX. If you need some additional encouragement to get you off your a$$ and convince you that you need to pick up this metal packing beast of a holy terror of a toy.. go check it out.

..this hobby collecting is very addictive. So true. But the longer you collect and the more you learn, most likely there won't be many breaks for your wallet anymore. ;D

... I'm having difficulty telling if people are actually seriously getting this worked up about this. Are you guys for real? I agree. Isn't this just some card game?

Not being a completist, I don't know how much I care about the Nacht. The sword is cool, but it's just not enough to get me to fork out the bucks for a Tamashii exclusive.
Loving the GGG!!!

question can you put dendoh's spinning arm effect on Mazinkaiser skl arms to give it the effect the arms are rotating? You might want to try sculpt your own out of something like tamiya epoxy putty(?)

The pre-order has been up for awhile, but you're right about the paint job, it does look really good.

I'm right there with quin on the Wildraubtier. Design-wise it's one of the cooler Gundam knock off robots I've seen. And even though it's not a smooth transformation into vehicle mode, it looks cool.

If all the joints are like mine I don't see that being a problem. The joints on mine are very solid and large in size. If these connections were ball joints I would be worried, but each connection seems to be made of three pieces that combine to form a hinge and a rotation cup separately. Together these form solid joints.

Surprisingly no. All the joints are friction joints, but large in size and heavy duty, most especially on the legs and hips.

The price is probably about right if you think about it.. They are just plastic and maybe a single hinge on each one, if that. If they were anything more complex I would be surprised at the price, but for what they are it sounds about right.

This makes me wonder if they will do a black liger repaint of the DCSJ?

Holy sh*t those look good! Sometimes I ride the band wagon just for the sake of getting excited about something, but those really do look VERY, VERY COOL.

I think if you told your average person that you have.. say, 10 robots, they would think it was a lot!

Well, the idea of having that stuff is cool, but being how it is, it seems sort of pointless.

Just got the Dawn of War: Retribution expansion and it rocks. This expansion brings in the Imperial Guard faction and they are a blast to play with in multi-player. The reason 40k is such a great game is because the creators really know how to diversify the factions along with vehicles and plenty of mecha units so that they all have a very original but equally powerful form of play. If you take the Tyranid faction and compare them to the Imperial Guard, the type of strategy used is completely different, yet both are a blast. I'm not much into campaigns but this does have an excellent campaign as well.

Man, this thing is quite big, isn't it? That's probably about the size of SOC Aussenseiter in horse mode, maybe even larger. Never thought it would be THAT big. In regards to the metal content, wouldn't it be costly to ship? It's big. I would say the weight is similar to a large SOC, and probably more, but I haven't weighed it. I'll just say it feels really, really heavy when you pick it up.

Here's a pic that shows the basics of the metal content. There is a fair amount this is not visible in this pic that I pointed to with the arrows, and I suspect there is also more metal in the skeletal structure.
