OldAnime, I'm certainly not interested in starting a flame war here so I won't comment for sure on personal accusations. You already defined the info I collected from HK forums as a hoax without proof, and I posted the photos from those same forums. I have a EX Black Getter, all 3 Getters + 2 Mazinger; and I'm certainly not happy about the news surfacing from Japan about QC and the price increases in Italy, but that's it. I think the only thing that doesn't help this discussion is the fact that you and diabolos are trying to sell this item in your webshop for €1,000 (= $1,450) as you pointed out in a PM here on RJ...: www.toysguardian.it/fewture-ex-gohkin-shin-getter-1-p-150.htmlI really do hate flame wars, and this will be my last post on this personal issue, if you have personal matters with me or other Italian collectors I would ask you to leave those outside public threads and use PMs...

Is the above information verifiable? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAASE Of course this is no official news, but that seller always proved reliable in the past; moreover he has no real interest in selling more EX Shin Getters, since all those 26 items he got were already preordered and paid for by his customers, so he would have no real reason to lie in this case. About the Italian situation, unfortunately it's true; lots of Italian sellers canceled their preorders and raised the prices...

That would seem the best thing to to do. What worries me is that this is not a new issue... I'm quoting this post from a year ago (same thread): last heard, they were fixing the wing of the big fella, the original wing tend to crack if the shin getter topples over. think we'll be in for a long wait

I just received a mail from a JP seller I contacted: it seems he received 22 out of 26 Shin Getters with broken wings out of the box; and this may account for the current shortage, since a lot of items are going back to Fewture.
A word of caution: if you are buying this make sure the wings are checked by the shop before shipping!

The normal version was priced ¥23.600, the limited ¥24.600.
They were both pretty common upon release with no availability issue at the time.
I never heard of an Asia version too...

Jokes aside, it seems incredible they didn't fix it. The problem with the wings surfaced more than a year ago, they should have had plenty of time to engineer them from scratch. Differently from the first Getter, this time the fault is not in the main figure itself, so the cost of doing that was minimal! Anyway, that's unfortunately nothing new for Fewture... this Gokin is beautiful indeed but I really find it difficult to spend $500 or more on a potentially flawed figure!

At least Fewture has made a big step forward: according to rumors appeared in 2010, Fewture delayed the project because all the wings in the prototypes were broken in manufacturing.
...now the models are intact in the box but they are giving you the opportunity to break them yourselves 1 hour after purchase! ;D

Goshogun is actually not a combiner, but what about the small TriThree? ;D
Anyway I was thinking: GX-46 has not been a huge hit in Japan (it's still available mostly everywhere), while all the Sunrise robots usually sell much more (Daltanious is sold out already on HLJ).
I'd bet on Daioja for GX-61 against SRX... we'll see...

Do you think it´s a wise move do produce the double and sell it at the half of the price?? I was actually saying something else: instead of selling x models at $350 each (and let speculators gain $500 on each one of them), they could simply produce 2*x models at $400 each: they would make much more profits and every customer could get one without issues.

Why Fewture persists in choosing this business model is beyond me. Basically a rough estimate of their net profit on this item could be around $100, while speculators are earning $700 or more... couldn't they just produce more gokins, distribute them in a sound manner, and make everyone happy (including themselves)?

It seems it's been released, at least in Taiwan: cgi.ebay.com/330571812618Correlations lists is as "in stock" and he is a reputable seller, but.... $1000??

Some distributors in Italy are saying it's been delayed to June 20th...

In the meantime some auctions are appearing on YJ, all of them with no buyers and around ¥70.000 (about $850), definitely too much...

I've been trying to find a scan of the magazine to find if the are more hints without success. According to several JP and HK forums it should be on Hobby Japan... I also have a doubt: if they were just talking as a "robot union of 3 bodies" as next SoC... could it be this was just a reference to God Sigma?

Daioja was on that list too, and in better position; this list was published in October 2009.
1 Daltanious 2 Daioja 3 Tobikage 4 God Sigma 5 SRX 6 Mazinkaiser 7 Gaiking The Great 8 Daitarn 3 9 Trider G7 10 Shin Getter Robo

A new clue has been released today on a Japanese Magazine: 三体合体ロボ = robot union of 3 bodies
It could be lots of things, but I'd bet on Saikyo Robo Daioja or SRX. What do you think?
