At least Bandai finally did it, even if it's not a straight-up reissue. Congratulations to those who didn't give in to the speculators Like mecha-mania said "...in this hobby, never say never."

My apologies for necroposting Just need confirmation if this is the proper way to disconnect Shin and Ra from Sphinx's legs, just yank them out...?

Is it really that expensive to license Orguss stuff? 20,000 yen for a 6.7 inch semi-plastic figure...? I'm guessing the majority of the development cost went to licensing, maybe same situation with Megahouse. In comparison, the HMR VF-1J Armored Valk may be smaller at 5.5 inches, but it has tons of accessories for only 12,000 yen. Licensing plus engineering/tooling cost probably went up considerably... Or Bandai's just being Bandai

I really like the "Boss Borot Z" configuration, I even tried searching for the show that he actually appeared in, but I only found this

Sorry for my skepticism but are we sure that it's really gonna be GX-103... I don't see any clear indications in that pic aside from the Soul of Chogokin card that's not even showing the whole content
Unless the pic came from a reliable source that has the complete info

Do you guys think the price they posted years ago (12,800 yen per ship) is still accurate? Not sure if the new SRP was mentioned already... xD

Just want to add, for those who are having a hard time transforming Big Moth's hip, try following the video below.
You can actually control the amount of force to apply when you pull the hip down then push it backwards while Big Moth is in "standing" robot mode, preventing stress on that ever popular "transparent red joint": Should have been illustrated properly in the manual so non native speakers can understand. I used to bring the legs down in mammoth configuration (just like in the manual) BEFORE shifting the hips. Scared the crud outta me every time the hip joint snapped into place Still, there's no easy way to pry open the toes (unless you apply silicone oil to the joints)... and those dang gold chest pieces...

This is exactly why I don't keep my robot figs MISB Either he got suckered into thinking it's a MISB specimen, OR it was already damaged straight from the factory. Hope he can still return it and get a refund. Based on the video, looks like Bandai didn't change/reinforce the transparent red plastic design of the crotch joint for GX-13R, still same as the original GX-13s... crap...

Wow, is that SRP correct? 196 euros? Good price point for something that's 33.5 cm tall I'm getting bummed out by other companies with 300 to 400 above USD price points

I wouldn't call that diecast content low. It's just... typical and expected. Usually the inner joints like ankles, hip and waist are diecast but we cannot see it in this pic. As for diecast thighs, too many companies avoid that painted metal on metal contact areas now because of chipping paint, so thigh hitting crotch, they're not going to diecast both, I get it. but that is not bandai standards! the gx70 DC mazinger did have metal thighs and forearms. why not this? they have done it before with the GX 45 shin mazinger which was 80% metal and very articulate. Possible reason #1: Less diecast = moar profit

anybody wonder how this figure fits into the ship??? Hehe, nice catch In the show, Don Hakka always had trouble fitting inside his ship, hitting his head on the canopy all the time Even though he's my least favorite character, I consider Popy PB-48 Starbood as one of my favorite toys growing up

diecast content
looks good
Hmmm, the forearms being plastic I can understand because of the rocket punch gimmick, what I'm worried about are the thighs... I think the reason why Bandai made the thighs diecast in latter iterations of Mazinger is because of GX-01's thigh cracking problem right But yeah, Bandai will probably say they are using better plastic materials now... (fingers crossed)

ooo cool, now I get it... It never occurred to me that D.C. line was specifically for Dynamic "movies", not the series. Thanks S_Gokin, RoboFestivus Kinda glad Bandai released Dynamic Classics first though, not really a fan of the series accurate version
