Thank you for the great advice everyone.
The reason I decided to get back into robot collecting was I started looking around and there are so many good pieces out there. I want to buy 3-4 pieces per year and spend some quality time with them hehe.
Chen: Too many good choices and I had to be overly picky to get it down to a small list. I was a little scared of Voltes V because of some of the issues I was reading about in reviews regarding the legs. So I was thinking at the same price point its probably better to get a well built Daiojah than a Voltes V with some minor complaints.
My initial collection starter purchases were GX-60 God Sigma, GX-50 CombattlerV and GX-50R Nambara Connection base.
I had a list of like 10 other GXs I liked and narrowed it down. I wanted to leave some spare $$ so I can purchase the SOC Danguard Ace and maybe the Evolution Toys Atranger.
@sadpanduh: I am trying to get a few pieces per year so next year I plan on getting some Mazinger pieces, I especially like the EnergerZ (look) and the Angels. If I just got one MZ piece is used GX-49 Shin Mazinger @ $60 a good price?
@silverdronz: God Mars is defiantly on the list for a next year purchase.
greengetterguy: At first, I didn't like the samurai-influenced style robots as much (especially the helmet style decorations) but now I think I just tend to focus on getting a quality robot with good design and construction. Thats why I was taking a look at Daioja because I was reading this forum and people seemed to be impressed with its build quality. I will add Battle Fever to the list for next year.
Thank you again everyone for the great advice here (and on the previous threads).
