Yeah those are the ones I talk to a seller about these but i wasnt comfortable buynig from him. Oh well this will have to wait for a bit. Oh cool, yeah, they are about 7.5" tall and have a waist joint. They remind me of SIC figures in articulation.

Ultraman C by Medicom came out a few years ago. I have it. B, like you, I had to settle for the Bandai, since it is the "limited" version out of the 3. Ultraman Jack has recently been released as a Medicom, but it doesn't look right, to me, but HLJ has it on sale, I believe.

Saw the sale for Jack so I picked him up. I don't like how the costume fits - too tight From what I've read medicom is doing a renewal version of C type and its scheduled for august release or sooner I hope. The Ace I saw available on HLJ.

Ok, I see the ace, available in July, but I don't see C. I think Jack's issue is that they are using the RAH301 armature which is larger than the previous which may explain the tight fitting suit. I think the proportions are off, the head looks too big for the body.

I don't have many Ultraman related toys, except all the Ark's and a few BanDai vinyls from the early 90ties. But I've got this Popy piece here

Question: By the numbers, how many total Ultras are there?
Just curious, because I know there have been so many ultraman variations over the years since day one... so many I gave up counting them all. Then I came across This:
...looks like a new Ultra' movie that was released last month.

No one has posted any Ultra-act? Ok here we go. These are all the Ultra's released so far. From left to right is Ultraman Zero, Seven, Ultraman(Hayata), and Mebius. In back is Ultraman Belial and Tamashii web exclusive Darklops Zero. They are all awesome IMO. Ultraman Tiga comes out next month and Ultraman Leo comes out in may.

Haven't been following the Ultra-Act figures. Been on other pursuits lately. What are they constructed from? Any metal at all? They look very similar to the GD series Ultra characters. Would you consider them in scale with those? From your picture, they look about right. If so, I'll have to go and pick up the Leo to stand with the others.

They dont have any metal parts they are plastic but they come with a lot of accessories and hands and are super articulate. I've never owned any of the GD series ultras but these figures are about 6" tall or so.

I've never owned any of the GD series ultras but these figures are about 6" tall or so. I own both types . GD Paint is much better. Shiny Gloss coat and the metal makes them very heavy compared to the Ultra-Act series. They are about the same height . The ultra-act are cool figures. They have their flaws though. The loose joints are a common problem though easily fixed by adding clear nail polish to thicken the ball joint or socket. Unfortunately there are what ? only 5 or 6 GD Ultraman figures. Ultra-Act has a large number figures that are affordable. I like what they've done with the series and having Monsters in the line makes its a lot of fun to own.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll have to pick up the ones not made in the GD line to fill out that shelf.
