I agree. It is not something that you (well, at least I) could determine by just taking the figure out of the box and placing it on a flat surface for a few minutes, or even taking it apart right out of the box. I still think the figure is too front-heavy for the vinyl (thickness) on the top of the feet. It is true however, that if you offset the weight of the chest by manipulating the legs into the "pelvic thrust" position, then the figure's normal center of gravity is offset, better distributing the load directly on top of the ankles. This prevents the top-front part of the feet from handling all the weight that would be placed on them if the figure was positioned in a normal "out-of-the-box" stance. But again, Mazinger looks absolutely ridiculous with his pelvis sticking out. Like I mentioned before, I have to keep my 24 inch Mazinger tied up so it doesn't fall. We appreciate you personally taking time to look into this issue. There are not many companies left that will do this. But please, do take your time in examining emerson's figure. It would be pointless to just send out replacements if eventually they are going to end up with the same problems. There might not be a solution for the problem, but at least it was looked into, and we all appreciate that. }D you are forgetting what I stated in a post above, so I repeat, there are thousands of this figure in Europe, japan, and usa, a big part of it are already purchased by the fans...and I have no report of this problem except 3 persons on the very same board, and that is the reason why I want to see emerson's mazingerZ, look other fans here do not have that problem at all. I'll leave the figure 2 days on the table at ambient temperature. I don't see why you are assuming that I will not check it carefully, it is our product, therefore I will. Thank you. I just checked the FedEx website and it looks like it's in Tokyo now, but there's some kind of delivery delay. I'm hoping you guys don't have to work on Saturday, so you should hopefully have it on Monday.

we received Emerson's MazingerZ, twisted the legs a little bit, but not that much, checked during 1 week 1/2...took pictures each day. The decline was barely noticeable to be frank and the figure never fall off the table, we finally took grendizer and placed it in front of the heater, Grendizer clealry lean in that case, but it is not what we can call a normal use for that figure, ..we are not saying that is what Emerson did though..just explaining how we could finally from our side get the MazingerZ to lean that much starting from a correct position of his legs/feet . We exchange many mail with Emerson, and we finally sent back a mazingerZ. since then we did not receive any mails from fans complaining about that model, or from our distributors overseas. Nothing leads us to think that we have defects in that production here. Not saying that everything is perfect, it is possible and 'normal' that very few pieces out there could have certain problems, be it painting, assembling, packaging etc... including problems not related to the actual manufacture of the item, but in that case the product can be replaced by the shop selling the item or the distributor. I believe Emerson is not back home yet and that is why he did not reply, but he surely will

Yea, back now and fighting off 13 hour jet lag and holiday madness!
Hlpro pretty much summed it up. He agreed that my photos clearly showed a leaning Mazinger, so he and his staff attempted to recreate the leaning in their Tokyo office. He sent me several time-lapse photos, and they showed that the Maz did NOT lean for him.
Our photos show that we positioned the feet and legs in similar alignments, yet we received extremely different results.
We went back and forth trying to figure out what could make my Maz lean if the feet/legs were positioned the same way, and there were no sources of heat around the figure. But after much head-scratching, we gave up.
It's still a mystery...
Anyway, I was happy to take back my original Maz, but since the HL Product staff had experimented so much on it, they sent me a new replacement instead. I should probably receive it shortly, and will cross my fingers that the mysterious leaning phenomenon does not repeat again.
Strange, very strange. But I will say that hlpro did, indeed, go out of his way to figure out what could be wrong with my figure. He was responsive, cordial and diligent in his efforts, so I want to just say a big thanks here publicly.
Thanks!
Looking forward to your future releases...

Well, I'll keep mine tied up with fishing line until I figure out how to keep it from falling on its face because of the leaning. I may "install" an actual inner frame in the feet and legs, but that will have to wait until I have some time available... }D

WOW - a Gingaizer and a Jeeg! Awesome!! Why is the Gingaizer only 14" and listed as an action figure, while the Jeeg is a 24" model? Will the Gingaizer transform? I see it has wheels by its feet.

I see it has wheels by its feet. 14Inch cause it match our Marmit collection, action figure because he got few articulated points to shoulders, elbows, ankles. The wheels are there just because it is part of the original design of Gran fighter, they are not actually functional. the 24 Inch K.Jeeg is the next model in the 24inch collection, Grendizer and MazingerZ being already released.

No, the 12 inch Mazinger Z action figure, the one that was supposed to come out after the 12 inch Grendizer. I placed an order with PBExpress and BBTS and they keep pushing back the release date...

got the hlpro Mazinger today havent really had enough time to mess around with it. I wasjust able to get get it out of the package.
Packageing was the same as the Grendizer. if i recall correctly Mazinger came with 2 open hands, one chopping hand and iron cutter - double blade attachment . i dont think you can bend the arm at the elbow like on the SOC mazinger i didnt try so i dont know.
Mazinger is made of the same vinyl as Grendizer It feels very sturdy for being so light - its not heavy. it feels like it can take a beating but i'm not gonna test it.
He stands just a bit shorter than Grendizer. Probably about a 1/2 inch or so shorter. all the joints use the same ratchet systme as Grendizer. overall i'm happy with it . I just need to go mess with it more and see how well it holds different stances and how easy it is to swap out hands and Pilders .
I forgot to mention that it has 2 pilder one of them was attached to the head - wings up- and the other was in the plastice tray - wings down.

Actually, one is the Jet-Pilder (comes attached to the head but is removable), and the other is the Hover-Pilder (which can also be placed on the head).
