yep jet and hover
you know my only gripe is that theres no waist joint .
Like to see Garada and Getter 1 and that would do it for me
ok maybe Boss Borot , Minerva x, Great Mazinger Tetsujin 28 , and that would be it. just the classic versions.

Oh yes, no waist joint at all (rotating or swivel). It would have been awesome if it had a waist joint AND better articulation in the shoulders and hips. Other than that, it is a great figure of Mazinger Z.
Now, when is High-Dream coming out with the Scrander for it??? And while you're at it, make the Spacers for Grendizer too...

Hello all. This is my first post in this forum. Thank you for accepting my application into this group.
I have a very modest collection to which the 60cm Grendizer has been a recent aquisition, and am awaiting the arrival of the 60cm Mazinger. I have read the messages regarding the tendency of the Mazinger figure to lean forward.
One member (electrolyte) postulated that this may be due to a weight to vinyl rigidity issue. I studied the pic of both Grendizer and Mazinger as posted by hlpro and believe that there is some validity to his theory, however, I'd like to add that it may also be due to the intrinsic design of their respective feet. Please note that my analysis is incomplete, based upon my physical observation of Grendizer's feet and the picture of Mazinger's.
Grendizer's feet are similar to that of an inverted bowl , or arch. Add to that the presence of splines fore and aft of the feet, plus a cuff which act as the ankles. His feet and ankles are sturdy albeit unconventional looking. Juxtaposing this to Mazinger's feet's simple spatulate design, regardless of the equal thickness and rigidity of the PVC, the non-butressed design may eventually succumb to the figure's weight. If this does happen to my Mazinger I will simply reinforce the feet with either expanding foam insulation, or resin to increase the rigidity.
Cheers.

well, you normally don't need to do this, but thanks a lot, it is a nice observation, yes foam in the feet would reinforced it. If you feel like your figure lean forward and want to do this, just make sure to warm with a dryer the ankle area, joint of the leg to feet, to easily remove that piece, otherwise you could break it.

Thank you, hlpro, for adding the suggestion of using a hair dryer. I did forget to mention that. I don't expect any problem with the 60cm Mazinger (as long as it arrives)

But we do have a plan regarding the manufacture of a very large grendizer spaizer made of vinyl and ABS parts, the spaizer itself without the wings is about W50cm, so it will be an impressive piece.

Wow, that's huge! Will it mainly be a display piece? Or will it somehow interact with the large Grendizer figure...Can't wait to see prototypes!

Wow! A 50cm Spazier. That should put it in scale with the 30cm Grendizer. I really believe that this could be an accessory piece to the figure as it coincides with the tilt angle of the head and the flat palm options.
Where to display an almost 2 foot saucer (more once the wings are deployed)?
Can a Scrander be far behind?

Hello hlpro.
I've a few questions regarding the prototype you're doing before going into production. Are you working with 3d files before? Do you model everything first in a cad software and does the company who's doing your prototype work with this after? Are you doing the prototype in house? I'm curently working on a personnal project, I've the 3d file almost finish and would like to produce only one sample. I know it's quite expensive but it doesn't stop me for the moment. The prototype I've see of your products are quite detailed and nice, do they support painting? I'm looking to that kind of finish and material wich seems the better looking from what I've see in prototypes. Can you send me a private message with the company who's doing yours so I can maybe check with them technical details, like files format and budget?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

Ahh this one, this is actually our very first grendizer model, produce for the first time in 99 or 2000, a very classic vinyl figure of grendizer, the preorder is for our 5th reproduction. We are not very proud of this model, but... our distributors never stop asking for it. it is a very simple piece, with swivel articulations to the joints, and nothing else!.

Mike It is case by case, most die cast model are based on 3D designs, other model are hand sculpted, or sculpted then turned into 3D models. All is done in house we do not work with 3rd party companies doing our prototypes. Sorry we can't really help you there.
